Re: Where is the evidence?
I see a lot of threads, but besides theorycrafting and what often appears to be wild speculating and "finding faults anywhere but myself" type of situations, I don't see a single piece of evidence that proves that, say, "bad grounding" or whatever can have a major impact on latency. Even the head a...

Re: It always comes back
One thing i see about everyone including my own input lag issues is that, it always comes back. No matter the fix it always comes back, i wish some genius knew why this happens lol but all we can do is continue to test right (:( just focus on your perception and how to change him its gonna be long ...

Re: gpu scaling vs Display scaling
Could it be placebo? maybe. But GPU scaling seems to "feel" better (3070). It varies (at the hundreds of microseconds leagues / at the low-millisecond leagues) but GPU scaling is usually faster than display scaling, when it comes to modern GPUs I would like to ask you a question, if it is confirmed...

Re: would buying an old PC solve it?
yes you trick yourself everytime you change something its take time for you brain to realize that you lying to yourself Fair enough, according to your theory I tricked myself twice, because after the first installation of winxp i went on 7 and 8.1 and then reinstalled xp back. How am I supposed to ...

Re: would buying an old PC solve it?
It's not something in the human's perception, I wish it was. Buy an old lga775 pc, install winxp and you will be surprised how good everything is. Windows 7 with disabled composition is not even close to perfection of this os and how input-lagless it is. I blamed every single part in my pc, then i ...

Re: would buying an old PC solve it?
I think it's not the pc parts, it's the OS. Win 7 and 8.1 were noticeably laggier and the input lag persisted with the same old pc, whereas Win XP was completely fine even without any tweaking, just vsync disabled. Now what I observed was that the fps was dropping even in CS 1.6 on both win7/8.1, b...
