Re: LG 27" 1440p 240hz OLED Ultragear 27GR95QE

It feels like LG rushed this. Its an amazing display but would have been better with a glossy screen. I had to remove all 4k TV resolution options in CTA-86 Block in CRU otherwise a lot of fullscreen exclusive games would force 3840 x 2160. Super annoying but that fixed it. They have to have a 4k 24...

Re: monitor 240hz for call of duty

Hp Omen X25 is imo the best 240hz monitor to exist. The motion clarity on that thing is unmatched (without strobing tech) I don't want to list all the models I own (I even have LG's new 1440p 240hz OLED on order) but want to echo how incredible the X25 is. X25 is a crazy good display and definitely...

Re: My radeon is more responsive than nvidia

Tested it many times and I noticed my rx580 has less input lag, games look and feel more fluid and I always perform better Noticed the same thing between a 580, 5700, both feeling some much more fluid than my 3090 regardless of FPS and where I capped it. I am really hoping AMD out does nVidia becau...

Re: Razer Viper 8k Firmware update

Razer has a new 4k hz wireless dongle for their pro series peripherals. https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/w5dtxr/razer_hyperpolling_usb_dongle_the_1st_4000_hz/ More good news for smoother gameplay at higher refresh rates. Did you have a chance to try this out? Is Synapse required? I kee...

Re: AMD bios settings

No SMT is disabled. I don't know how it reacts on different platforms and CPUs, but with my 2700X if I disable SMT, my NVMe drive gets half the IRQs assigned to it. I'm not sure why this happens or what else may be affected. SMT disabled made COD unplayable but other games were good to go. Pretty i...

Re: AMD bios settings

Like i said above, 4 cores give me lowest dpc latency numbers and ive seen the picture you posted earlier. If you have a 5950x please try for yourself and update. you use smt? No SMT is disabled. Re: internet latency & effects on hit registration

Surely people in here are coming to understand that some Game Developers and Publishers are nerfing players real time in what their patents refer to things like Engagement Based Match Making. Can't make this disaster up. Johnny Six Pack typically plays 3 games a night some times buys skins has a .5 ...

Re: internet latency & effects on hit registration

I just tried a double conversion online ups to get the best power possible but it didnt make a difference (maybe a bit smoother) but it didnt help people appear to still have an advantage over me, more time to react than me... The next step would be to test an internet business plan with udp priori...

Re: aorus fi27q-x text clarity

Not sure how to help but I have been using the Fi27Q-X exclusively for a few months. It's my favorite display. I have Omen X 25F, VG259QM, PG259QN, Omen X 27, LG 850GL, (returned a G7) and own a handful of others. Something about the motion to my eyes makes it my favorite.
