I think the main post is referring to a known issue, instead of the "theoretical g-sync delay":

Re: NVIDIA Reflex Mouse Input Lag Database
Reflext database does not match the measurements from OCN's bump tests, so there much be one of them is off the truth. In the Reflex database, logitech mouse were measured at 2.5ms click latency absolute, and the G pro wireless superlight has an amazing low latency at 0.8ms in wired mode. In OCN's b...

Click Latency and Motion Delay, how well are they in sync?
Hi, In generally, we want both click latency and sensor motion delay time as low as possible, which I highly agree. But in this thread, I am thinking of cases that click latency is "too low" that click happens faster than motion tracking, and this timing out of sync may cause problem. If I do a supe...

Re: Enabling G-sync has hidden impacts even when frame rate is uncapped?
Enalbing G-sync, in Aimlab, with 900 fps, with my monitor AW2720HF, did boost my average score in motionshot ultimate mode Your display is a G-SYNC Compatible FreeSync model. VRR typically needs an instantaneous scanout transmission to function properly, so it's possible enabling G-SYNC Compatible ...

Enabling G-sync has hidden impacts even when frame rate is uncapped?
Not sure I am crazy or G-sync is crazy. Recently I observed a weird behavior on using G-sync. In the past month, I played a lot of Aimlab. I played it with G-sync off for a long time. One day, I turned on G-sync in the Nvidia control panel, and immediately my performance in Aimlab increased! I thoug...

How G-sync switches between ON and OFF based on frame time?
When the frame rate fluctuating above and below the monitor refresh rate, I wonder, what is the mechanism to dynamically active G-sync. (This topic is based on the following setting: G-sync is enabled, and V-sync is disabled, and frame rate is not capped.) Let's assume a case where our frame rate ch...

Re: AW2720HF abnormal overdrive artifact (horizontal text bleeding, and square shape alias ghosting)
Bad news : I have this monitor (AW2720HF) and indeed it does have block-like artifacts under the following settings: Freesync/Gsync off and response time set to Super Fast / Extreme. It doesn't have it for my monitor under: - Fast (G/FreeSync on or off) - Super/Extreme (G/Freesync on). FYI you migh...

Re: AW2720HF abnormal overdrive artifact (horizontal text bleeding, and square shape alias ghosting)
After checked with a friend who owned the same monitor, I can confirm it is a common issue for AW2720HF. Don't know if the same thing happens on VG279QM or other 27'' ips 240Hz panels. (Any VG279QM users?) From the UFO pictures I saw on AW2521HF (check the link below), I don't see such square shaped...

AW2720HF abnormal overdrive artifact (horizontal text bleeding, and square shape alias ghosting)
Recently, I bought a AW2720HF, motion clarity is quite good. But there is an issue with abnormal overdrive artifact. For all other monitors I owned (AW2518HF, and others), the overdrive only cause inverse colored ghosting effect, which is what I expected. But this AW2720HF is completely different, i...

Re: The better 27 inches IPS 240Hz monitor? (Asus VG279QM vs Dell AW2720HF)
Regarding 27'' IPS 240Hz panels, after did some research, quite sure there is only one model of panel from AU optronics (M270HAN03.0). But different companies released them in different time. (For example, Asus spent more time fine tuning their VG279QM, which I believe is because of the 40Hz overclo...
