Freesync Premium Pro monitor. VRR + HDR on nvidia cards.

I would like to hear an unambiguous answer about the possibility of enabling on the Freesync Premium Pro monitor at the same time both VRR and HDR functions at the NVIDIA GPU (I have RTX 3080 and now its work great with FreeSync, but i want buy new monitor which includes HDR and Freesync Premium Pro...

Re: 60 FPS lock on 144 hz. GSync vs OFF Sync

No that is comparing 60fps on a 60hz monitor to 60fps on a 144hz monitor, also it is comparing 60hz 60fps with Vsync on to 60fps 144hz Gsync+Vsync on. There is no comparison there with all syncs off. If you don't care about consistency and smoothness and just want ultimate input lag reduction you n...

Re: 60 FPS lock on 144 hz. GSync vs OFF Sync

For the absolute lowest input it will be all syncs off no matter what. The fact that turning off all synchronizations gives the lowest latency could be absolutely true if it were not for the results of this test, which claims that GSync helps to reduce latency in comparison with a 60 Hz monitor, de...

60 FPS lock on 144 hz. GSync vs OFF Sync

After reviewing a bunch of tests, I could not find an exact comparison of the situation where, with 60 fps lock on a 144 Hz monitor, the latency was compared GSync vs Off sync. In which case would the delay be better? I know that GSync adds about 2 ms of latency. But will the delay be even higher du...

Re: Scanline Sync frametime spikes and frame skipping

I would like to clarify about Scanline Sync. Despite the fact that I have a powerful system (Rysen 3600 and RTX 3080), and my video card is only 60% loaded and the processor is not fully loaded either, I get small spikes on frametime in Apex Legends and Rainbow Six Siege every second. In the game, ...

Re: 4k resolution at 4k monitor vs DSR 4k at 1080p monitor.

You can windowbox it with black bars too (1:1 pixel map it) with the NVIDIA Control Panel feature to prevent scaling. But although it is not a size-for-size comparison. I ended up taking a 1080p screenshot, compressing it 2x using bilinear resampling, then doubling it using the neighboring pixel me...

Re: 4k resolution at 4k monitor vs DSR 4k at 1080p monitor.

A good way is compare first without upgrading first is 1080p native (non-AA) versus 1080p downsampled to 540p. This is the 1080p equivalent of 4K native (non-AA) versus 4K downsampled to 1080p. You’ll see pros/cons of the two methods. Roughly the framerate, but different appearance of AA-like quali...

4k resolution at 4k monitor vs DSR 4k at 1080p monitor.

I would like to hear an opinion or even a real experience on the topic of DSR comparing the same 4k DSR on a FullHD monitor versus a real 4k resolution on a 4k monitor. I asked this question for a long time. On the one hand, the render of an increased resolution and then its downscaling with subsequ...

Re: NVIDIA Low Latency Mode - On or Off for less Input lag?

Because Reflex effectively removes the pre-rendered frames queue entirely, thus LLM has nothing to reduce. Reflex is an LLM replacement. That said, you can leave LLM "On" globally for games that don't support Reflex, as Reflex will ignore LLM settings anyway. However, in earlier videos, when the NV...
