The chart with 100 brightness is the supposed 260nits in SDR. The lowest point is around 160nits. This is already 100nits dip, more than 1/3 total brightness, in just SDR, at 175Hz or below. The chart doesn't even show the HDR dip in brightness. It can be even bigger dips in HDR. The ...

Compare to other monitors, I can certainly feel the stress when looking at it.

I think this is likely why the flickering is worse. The frequency of the flickering is the same as the refresh rate of the monitor. It's 175Hz and below. It is a rather low frequency.

As stated before, I cannot do the same effective 180° shot in games with AW3423DW. This is not a problem with XL2546/XL2546s with or without strobe light. In comparison, AW3423DW is not smoother moving the image around.

Different reviews or their numbers differentiate. Maybe their test methods ...

After updating the OS to Windows 11, the screen tears are all over the place on Zowie XL2546 when R6 runs at 400-600fps.

The issue was noticed before on Windows 10 but Windows 11 has even more tears.

Zowie already wins 8 months ago at CES. Everybody who've compared Zowie with that 360Hz IPS agrees that 240Hz TN is snappier than 360Hz IPS.
