Re: Would a 5.6 ms response time and a 2.4 ms input lag be too big of a difference in competitive gaming?
So I am a pretty big competitive player and play lotta esports titles like cs val ow cod etc... However I also play lots of graphics single player story AAA titles. I can play on a 1080p (240 hz) monitor or 1440p (144 hz), which has 5.6 ms more response time and 2.4 ms more input lag than the 1080p...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Of course and I'll never say Zowies better for office, work or whatever, even when playing casual games or not that serious into eSport. That's my only problem, I only use that monitor to play competitive fps at a certain level (not saying I am the best of the universe at all) and the Acer can't ma...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
You're totally right. Sometimes I need to slow down, it's hard when you're also like that at work, etc. Today I tried a 2k 270hz (acer predator xb273ugx), I went home and turned on my xv252qf and it feels like I'm flying, an abyss. Frankly I don't know how you can say you got the same perform...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
As you said, I really wanted to keep it, I did move the monitor but the stand was HUGE, I also bought a monitor arm from Ergotron, and you know what, I was having back pain because I just moved my head in front of the monitor… bad habits, and I can’t change 15 years of gaming like that… And for off...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Of course, and I did, I used to play on a AW2721D for 2 month before selling it, (If you don't trust me, I have a picture of each of those monitors), the fact is, I was absolutely performing the same, BUT the major downside was the size is too big, I play extremely near from my monitor (I know it's...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
U guys don't mention anything about the low input lag of this monitor. Reminds me of TGLTN pro PUBG player that was ranting pretty hard in his stream after he had to play on a sponsored IPS 360 hz Alienware on a Korean PUBG tournament and lost early on. TGLTN ranted that he does not care about beau...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Thing is back in the days the norm is 60hz. Now it’s 144hz. So the average enemy probably will likely be using a 60hz panel giving your VG248QE a chance. Comparing xl2546K to xv252qf no big difference? Hello? There’s a huge difference even a blind person can tell. having had side by side xl2546k an...

Re: Acer 390Hz monitor - XV252QF
Hi everyone, it's my first post, I wanted to stop ghosting this forum ahahahah, Just wanted to do a little feedback. I got a XV252QF from Acer Store France, my last monitor was a XL2546K but after I tried 4 of them, 3 with dead/bright pixels, one with those large bezels misaligned with the panel it...

Re: Looking for a better 240+ hertz monitor
just try any screen with mbr active to understand what i'm talking about. I honestly don't know what you are talking about, do you mean strobe crosstalk? strobing afterimage? I see that you have a xl2546k in your signature, well I also had that monitor, just go into the game and start moving right ...

Re: Looking for a better 240+ hertz monitor
Mbr (aka dyac or bls), introduces a sort of fragmentation in the image, usually perceived on vertical lines, a kind of micro interruptions that are noticed above all in the right-left movements at medium speed, we are talking about subtleties, nothing exaggerated, but it happens (basically any moni...
