Re: Frame Time Fluctuation and FPS Limiters
Thanks a lot for the detailed response. BF V actually feels a lot smoother to me when I use RTSS to cap fps, which gives me a consistent frame time of 7.2ms. It stays at that even with a lot of action, whereas the in-game limiter will result in frame time spikes to ~11ms and things start to feel slu...

Re: APEX Legends Smooth Screen vs Less Input lag and tearing
The weirdest thing: I have to constantly switched between disable and enable fullscreen optimizations for it to be input lag "free".

Frame Time Fluctuation and FPS Limiters
In the G-SYNC 101: External FPS Limiter article, it says that it's best to use an in-game FPS limiter if that option exists. However, in a few games (e.g. BF V), the in-game limiter (144fps) causes frame time to fluctuate by quite a bit. E.g. 5ms to 10+ms. This also occurs when I use in-game command...

Re: Gsync ON or OFF when FPS always matches refresh rate?
If you constantly push 139 fps and cap frames does it still make sense to use gsync on, vsync on in that scenario. There is no VRR here, right since you're always at 139 fps?

Re: Gsync ON or OFF when FPS always matches refresh rate?
Thanks, I will continue to keep using GSYNC ON, VSYNC ON + Frame-rate cap.

Gsync ON or OFF when FPS always matches refresh rate?
Hello all, Long time lurker, finally signed up. As the question states in the subject, should Gsync be ON or OFF when FPS==monitor refresh rate? To my understanding, there is no benefit to having Gsync on in that scenario, and it could be better to use ULMB in that case. Is there an input lag penalt...
