Some early impressions. Installation: Easy enough, though the NVidia video should probably be updated to say that the brown flap for the ribbon cable should not be lifted...I almost damaged my board my trying to do so. Alright so it seems that the buffer is likely needed in case the framerate ever surpasses the refresh rate of the monitor, and a high bandwidth would be needed in this case. This begs the question: can the framerate ever be too high? Can the bandwidth ever be insufficient? Frames will have to be dro...

It could be that the video card needs to measure the time difference between two frames to control the length of the vblank interval. I'm under the impression that using this method, the video card needs to predict ahead of time how long the monitor will have to hold a certain image, so it needs to ...
