Re: LDAT Tested: Reflex Auto FPS Limiter Input Lag vs. In-game & External FPS Limiters

How come this doesn't have any reply so far?! 🤔 I'm not expecting any immediate traffic. This thread was more intended for reference/linking when I see future visitors asking about this on the forums and in the G-SYNC 101 comments section ;) although i'm sure the outcome will be identical :) That's...

Re: Screen tearing fix with GSYNC OFF

G-sync adds lag it's not virtually zero (It sounds nit picky but we don't say that when referring to CPU's cache latencies). The only lag G-SYNC "adds" is directly from hiding the tearline, nothing more, and it's technically not an "addition," since it's adhering to the native scanout time of the d...

Re: Dpc latency spikes

It's guaranteed to be MPO related. Try putting your monitor to 10BPC mode through Nvidia Control Panel and check ur latency again. Alternatively, use nvidia's regedits provided & restart your PC. It can be undone easily. Nvidia claimed they improved it drastically in 471.41 and "fixed" it in 471.98,...

Re: Trying to understand gsync and fps with vsync - Apex legends specifically

I've come down to setting Apex as such. Gsync on, nvcp v sync on. Now after this, if I set the fps limit in game to 141, 142, 143 via a command line in launch options, the fps seems to be stuck at 138, and even if i set the fps limit in nvcp to 141,142,143 whatever. It's still stuck around 138. I m...

Re: What can be done to reduce ghosting/motion blur and improve pixel response on 360 Hz IPS?

Don't these kinds of filters add latency? I think I have seen some LDAT tests on YouTube that have shown increased latency, but I am not certain. It definitely seems like the lookup tables would help though. Yes, filters add latency but at 240Hz+, it's only a tiny amount (1/240sec or 2/240sec) when...

Re: [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS] ViewSonic unveils monitors for 2021 (The new 240Hz 24" king?)

Can we at least confirm this is the xg2431 viewsonic tweeted recently? :) I'll leave that as a ViewSonic tease -- it's their ball to announce the shipment. My commentary is that it appearance very very close -- to the point I'm not 100% sure. Though enterprising reader using PS5 seems to have answe...

??????did you even read this thread? u have to use usb fs to have reflex to function on your mouse, u are capped at 1khz if you want to use reflex. Maybe you should have Razer explain it again if anything changed or whatever. Also lol @ forcing middle ring down people's throat when it's not even in...

Re: Comparing 360Hz to 480Hz on CSGO by Denonic

... Even if NOT all games can do the framerate, there are still pros even for framerates well below 240fps - LAG - 100fps at 240Hz is generally lower lag than 100fps at 144Hz - BETTER VSYNC OFF - 100fps at 240Hz has less tearing than 100fps at 144Hz. Tearlines visible only for 1/240sec not 1/144sec...

Re: I NEED HELP PLEASE :( I had enough it’s depressing

You say you've tried a lot of things, but just to make troubleshooting easier; have you turned off freesync/g-sync in nvidia control panel? How does that behave - by turn off I mean off, not just for the game.
