I just installed an old intel me driver that came with my mobo and it fixed 2 problems that I had:
- After alt-tabbing windows explorer would be unresponsive for 20-30 seconds
- weird coil whine like noises when i moved the mouse in desktop
I wasn't aware intel me could cause such weird problems.

I am disabling threaded optimization since 2016, def has the biggest impact on mouse feel along with scaling options in the nvidia control panel to me.

here is some stuff, that chatgpt recommended me a couple months back. with nping you can ping a gaming server with udp or tcp packets and the server responds with icmp. The program then measures round trip latency, loss etc. I suggest you do this while being connected to the server in game, otherwis...
