Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
I bought this monitor a few weeks ago. Really happy with it. I run it through HDMI and the motion clarity/ghosting is noticably better than on my old XL2720Z. And of course the colors are much better.

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
Does this monitor have better strobing at 75Hz than the older Benq XL2720Z (also called Zowie 2720)? Is it also brighter than (or just as bright as) the 2720 when strobing at 75Hz? I'm just wondering if I should go for this or the XL2546K when upgrading from my 2720. I will always be strobing and al...

HDMI on the Viewsonic XG2431
I'm considering getting the XG2431 and using HDMI to play on it.
1. Possibly stupid question but I want to be sure there isn't something I had not thought about: Would there be any drawbacks to using an HDMI cable vs DP?

Re: Viewsonic xg2431
if I set the xg2431 to a good bright level, is it better than DyAc there? DyAc+ is marginally brighter. If high brightness strobing is a must consider Zowie. But most people prefer something more comfortable. Do you know if the XG's strobing is brighter than the strobing on the Benq XL2720Z? I woul...

Re: 27" IPS monitors that can strobe at 75Hz (ULMB or whatever)
It's hard to want to go to the XG270 because it doesn't single strobe at 60hz Agreed. Although for PC gaming it's actually becoming less and less of a problem. With the 3080 I can run pretty much all games at 1080p @ 75Hz. And at this point in time I actually own only one game that needs to be run ...

Re: 27" IPS monitors that can strobe at 75Hz (ULMB or whatever)
The old 2014 BenQ XL2720Z in 27" and can single strobe form 60hz to 240hz. I should perhaps have mentioned that I have 3 of those already. The only real downside are the really thick bezels. The Viewsonic XG270 looks like a good 27" alternative since it has really thin bezels, and since I can...

Re: LG OLED CX 120Hz BFI
Unfortunately, you can't enable BFI in 'PC' mode." So what does that mean exactly. Can I still enable BFI when connecting a PC to the C1? It means you can enabled it when using a PC, but if you set the input to "PC Mode," BFI won't be available. You can use your PC on the C1 with or without PC Mode...

Re: LG OLED CX 120Hz BFI
Technically this is a question for the LG C1, but since there was no thread for it (and it's very similar to the CX) I ask it here. In the RTINGS test I saw this: "In 'Game Optimizer' mode, the settings are the same, but note that you can't enable BFI if you have Prevent Input Delay set to 'Boost'. ...
