what exactly do we know about Front Edge Sync?
My testing has shown that the frametimes and smoothness gained from Front Edge Sync is absolutely unbeatable.
However I am still curious how much latency this mode might add compared to async.

Re: [REBOOT] Non-CPU/GPU Bound Input Lag Tests
Why not just test under normal conditions, i.e. with uncapped FPS or with 240+ cap?
On any modern PC even with 400+ FPS your CPU/GPU usage is gonna hover around 20-30 and 40-50% respectively in csgo.

Re: Non-CPU/GPU Bound Input Lag Tests
Setting a device into MSI mode is clearly and obviously developed in order to lower latency. This is undeniable & doesn't need a test. So if you can't measure it, maybe it's not accurate enough (its not). He did measure it, and the result was that the difference is pretty much within margin of erro...

If discouragement was endemic, Galileo wouldn't have managed to convince some of the world that the Earth was round. He was assaulted by discouragement by all sides. So was Einstein. Etc. History is rife with that. The big problem with that comparison is, Galileo was a scientist and a once in a cen...

My graph looks clean with <1ms variance when I just booted windows. It looks the same as yours with +40/-40 when I have apps running, without any affinities. It may simply be the architecture. Z390 graphs also looks way worse when you have all the standard apps running. But can you describe to me wh...

Re: Upgraded PC; Motion Blur makes same old games unplayable.
I know for sure where the problem originates: Ryzen 5 3000 series CPU New motherboard? New Ram? So, you bought a somewhat cheap, non-approved 165hz monitor and are now trying to blame the motion blur of this display on your hardware? "I know for sure" you don't know anything for sure! This notion t...

Tried many locations, tried 6 pc's, did many tricks and still i dont know. That seems like a lot of effort and ressources spent. Have you, instead, tried purchasing a latency measurement device such as syslat or Nvidia LDAT? Or even a high speed camera? Because any sort of actual measurement, when ...

With all my respect into what you just said "the mind is powerful tool" it is and it should not be underestimated at all when it comes down to things as input lag and such. But I personally didn't start my thread about input-lag 2 years ago without relying on a macro testing changes after adjustmen...
