Re: G-SYNC and framerate caps

League of legends just added 120 and 144 frame rate limitors in game. For input lag, leaving gsync at 144 and ingame at 120 would be best? or do you think getting rivatuner to get 15 extra fps be just fine?

Re: BenQ XL2420G Release Info

Coming from a Dell Ultrasharp H-IPS panel, I have absolutely no complaints now. They were horrible at first in Classic mode without Display Pilot + Standard preset, but it's fairly easy to get them to look great. In G-sync mode they look good right away. I just bump the digital vibrance slightly ...

Seems like it's out to me. Should make a referral link, I might be getting it soon.

So what you're saying Chief is, if I have 100 fps, I'm getting 10 ms input lag? So when a monitor says 1ms response time ...

Re: About to buy a Benq XL2420Z

Amazon should have it for sure. As someone who was also worried about that (I purchased it 3-4 weeks ago, same model) and got one that was manuf. in Feb, while the official website says the V2 came out in March. So I was worried I got screwed just from looking at the box. But after turning it on and ...

Re: XL2420Z V2 FIRMWARE on Amazon.com! [CONFIRMED]

Thanks again for replying. Sorry to bump this up, totally forgot to reply last week. I wanted to confirm that the monitor I got from Amazon was a V2. I was skeptical because the manuf. date was Feb 2014, and I heard the firmware update was in March, so thought I got unlucky, but it did indeed have ...

Re: XL2420Z V2 FIRMWARE on Amazon.com! [CONFIRMED]

Quick question about V2 Firmware. The only thing it does is allow third party utilities to configure it? So unless you use something like Blur Busters, V2 doesn't do anything at all for you? Sorry if this has been asked, looked everywhere for a direct answer.

Re: another gaming monitors thread, sorry. [pro gamer monito

Thanks for taking the time to explain and detail everything, it is very much appreciated.

I wanted to just go to the local Frys and pick it up since they had it in stock, but since I have Amazon Prime figured I could wait 2 days and help out, thanks for the reply.

Just a last quick question. So ...

Re: another gaming monitors thread, sorry.

Thanks for the quick reply!

The game in question is League of Legends. And don't know what to reply about the bad health :D, I guess 16 hours is inaccurate with food and stuff, more like 12-14 hours, but I know, still bad, lol.

another gaming monitors thread, sorry. [pro gamer monitor?]

Hello there,

In a previous post you said you had the review for the Eizo 75% complete (back in Feb I believe), did you release it by any chance? I can't seem to find it anywhere, and there is no Reviews section on the forum.

I've been reading about monitors all day, and this forum alone for a ...
