Sorry to bring up this old post again, but for the vg279qm does it get the same benefit using OD120 as the 259? If everyone is liking OD120 over OD 80 then I will use it, but wasn't sure if this review applied to the 279.

You can also use NVIDIA Control Panel -> Adjust Desktop Color Settings -> Use NVIDIA Settgs -> Gamma as an extra additional shadow boost (even stacked on top of the monitor's Shadow Boost). I have just heard about an upcoming 32 inch 240Hz screen, if this is of any interst to you in the future.
