Re: Using a reshade black frame insertion shader fx?
Also for DesktopBFI: To reduce flicker, run this app as Administrator and configure it to REAL TIME priority in Task Manager. If a CPU surges in app is causing flickers, configure its priority 1 level lower, see if that works. I have tried this on 3 screens already the dell s2522hg (60hz@180hz) per...

Re: Using a reshade black frame insertion shader fx?
I think this thread is worth the necro, I just tried your program on my XG270 @ 180 hz with Strobe 2, and the results are outstanding, with the hardware strobing off there is very little to no blurring, and working along side the PureXP hardware strobing the clarity is CRT level perfect, dare I say...

Re: Weird Large VT behavior
the actual behavior or the tearline in rtss is this, lets say we have 300 of back porch.. if the sync value is 0 the tearline might or not show up on screen, at 1 it shows at the 1/10th of the screen (more or less) if you start moving the tearline down you can see the sync value changing but the te...

Re: Weird Large VT behavior
Thanks, but that's exactly I've been using it... 1 - I have been using the portable monitor as single, and yeah in CRU I make sure that I'm modifying the right one. 2- Yeah usually I have -90 as my rtss scanline sync setting because of this problem, it would set the tearline just below the last visi...

Weird Large VT behavior
Hi Chief maybe you can help me with this, a couple of weeks ago I bought an Innocn Portable Oled monitor 1080p 60Hz, it really looks amazing, and I decided to play with the vertical totals using CRU. I started by reducing the color to 8 bit (it does support 8bit +frc) but I prefer 8bit and thats it....

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
Umm... is the application detection level set to none?? maybe you have it off... BTW, maybe you can help me chief with something else.. I just tried a 1080p resolution with 3000 total vertical (1920 VBI) and 2200 total horizontal, the think is most of the VBI is in the back porch, so I tried setting...

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
I wasn't aware of this.. if I'm using scanline sync then I have to set the screen refresh to 60Hz and set the refresh in the settings to 16.66944ms? (which would be for 59.99fps) or do I have to set it elsewhere?

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
So, I remembered that my TV is 4K after all and supports up to 594Mhz so I went and created a new 1080p resolution with a total horizontal of 2050 and total vertical of 4829 with a 3749 line VBI, with this the tearing line is no where to be found xD everything is super clean and steady and I don't e...

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
ok, my preferred settings no longer work with the increased vertical total... now fps are fixed to 40, after moving the syncscanlines I manage to get 60 fps 16.6ms, but it lags like every 3 or 4 seconds the latency goes up to 33.4ms and 59/58 fps. Any idea?? BTW Chief, is there a rule for increasing...

Re: RTSS Scanline Sync HOWTO
Try reducing Horizontal Total to get easier bigger Vertical Totals. This helps pixel-clock-limited situations, since some bandwidth is wasted on unnecessarily large Horizontal Totals more designed for CRT tubes. 1125 is a 45-line VBI (1125 minus 1080), while 1195 is a 115-line VBI (1195 minus 1080)...
