Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

so it does work on 8khz? vs something that was mainly meant for wireless? Motionsync has been disabled at 8k because it doesn't meet our internal performance criteria. Motionsync was not "mainly meant for wireless" - it has no bearing on the connection method at all. It can be used over wired/RF/Bl...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

What do you guys think about Motion Sync? Apparently it can be enabled only at 4000hz or lower polling rates on the Viper 8khz. Is synchronizing SPI with USB polling events actually useful or does it only exist to make mousetester graphs look good? Looking at graphs it noticeably improves consisten...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

prolly cus the same reason we are still using usb 1.0 stuff everywhere except our leet viper8k users. convoluted tech standards, actually I don't know what I'm talking about as always so ignore me (sabre pro is garbage and so is the evga, sans some minor shape feats) what is the tool you use to show...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/corsair-sabre-rgb-pro Tom's Hardware is saying that CPU/USB requirements for 8 kHz polling is pretty high. Is that the same with the Razer version polling at 8 kHz? Will a dedicated USB Controller Card lessen CPU load? generic reviewers being generic as always. ...

Re: NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - How It Works & Why You Want To Use It

so they added the "Corsair CHAMPION SERIES SABRE RGB PRO 1b1c 1b79 0109 wired none FALSE TRUE FALSE 0 0 1000 573 285 573 NVIDIA" looks more and more (or less, is there a term for this situation? no I'm making it one) like Nvidia heavily shilling with peripheral brands honestly. well at least there i...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Weird, above firmware isn't on the site when you try to find it normally through the firmware selection. This firmware right away makes my mouse feel better, but we'll see if that's good or bad 'better'. I actually fetched the link from the support portal myself : https://mysupport.razer.com/app/an...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Dumb obligatory post. I looked for this when I first bought my mouse, there is a firmware update for the mouse you have to get specifically through the download section of the website. It's not available through synapse or on the product page. Doesn't seem to fix any of the problems I have, but pro...
