TL;DR: At bottom.
I'm putting this on A51:BBF because it's something that I never really seen discussed if at all in such way.
Sometime around the late, 2000s-before the transition of the 2010s whereby I was gaming. I ran into an old article on a french website. If I recall it might have been the ...

Re: Mechanism by Which BFI smoothes out 24FPS
At Mr.Rehjon I mostly go a rambling mess. My post might be more food for thought. You might be left with at least he is thinking in a deeper way. Lacking the finer professionalism or scientific wording behind it. I do try and simplify stuff not unlike what you've done with some of your postings ...

Re: Mechanism by Which BFI smoothes out 24FPS
Perhaps I shouldn't post this speaking more out of theory. I can intuitively understand it but to phrase it down gives me trouble. Plus it's been answered before at a prior date a few years ago.
The main answer was, The cost to be able to harness this technology would make it prohibitively ...

Re: [TFT Central] Monitor OLED Panel Roadmap Updates
Chief, I'm pretty sure we all kow that by now
We were talking about Sample-and-Hold matching FW900
480fps@480hz OLED doesn't match FW900 since 480hz is about 2.08ms + about 0.6ms of pixel response time or so(no matter what people say about OLED being 0 response time it's bullshit since it ...

Re: How Is OLED Technology Considered "Good"?
I have a relatively new ips monitor with quick response times. The stutter is pretty bad. How much worse is it on an oled tv in comparison would you say? I have an oled phone, but i assume you don't notice the stutter as much on such a small screen.
I'm curious, because if it's any worse than my ...

Re: Desync? BUG?
Most likely what is happening is the engine is having framerate magic numbers.
Since this is CS, most likely the Quake 2 engine base or the modifications by Valve produced a magic number.
In Quake 3 125, 250, and 333 produce higher firing rate, higher jumps, longer jumps, further jumping ...

Re: Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 - 0.1ms (GTG), 175Hz
In OLED GTG is a valid measurement more so than LCD(As Mr. Rehjon[CBB] states LCD emulation mode to test and compare LCD and OLED timings) as a matter of fact it would behoove manufacturers on lying about Grey-to-Grey time in fact using it as a marketing term becomes a truer measurement of consumer ...

So, it's actually happening! Curious about burn-in issues with this one though. Considering that a display like this is mainly focused on FPS players who desire the best motion clarity, and considering that most FPS games have static interfaces... and players spend hundreds and thousands of hours ...

Very excited to get my hands on this! does WOLED have any significant downsides?
Downside it's not quantum-dot nor perskovite. Nor a combination Perskovite-Quantum Dot or PQD.
WOLED looks like a very nice IPS panel. In fact it's similar to smartphone LCD the smaller you make LCD the tighter ...
