Re: Questioning my Monitor Choice
60Hz? Why would you use that? The monitor is g-sync compatible, so what you do there is use 144Hz even for 60FPS locked games. The best way to use such a display is 120Hz for the desktop, 144Hz for games with g-sync enabled. I have never used 60Hz mode on my g-sync monitor. It's completely useless,...

Re: Freesync (g-sync compatible) monitors flickering on 60fps games
I had a question if you don't mind regarding Freesync - for competitive play, should I turn off Freesync playing games where I get pretty consistent 120fps on the Xbox series X, maybe dipping to 110 once in a while? From my research on here, I would get better input lag with turning VRR OFF? My moni...

Re: Help with XSX and VRR on my Viewsonic XG240R
If anyone has a gaming monitor that's 25-27" and can have 1080p / 1440p with 120hz and VRR enabled on console? Can you please let me know your model? For those wondering based off my current research the odyssey g7, dell S2721DGF and the BenQ EX2780Q are what others are confirming to be compatible w...

Re: USb 3/4+ Future USB 8,000Hz -to- 24,000Hz polling rate
Oh and it's Blur Busters was one of the many itty-bitty contributor stakeholders that made VRR appear in the XBox one console generation earlier than planned. Their team (including Brad Rosetti) compliments Blur Busters in really popularizing the VRR and 120Hz stuff that paved the way for bosses be...

Re: Best Monitor for the Xbox Series X
I am also interested in this topic and if anyone has any suggestions. I also have a viewsonic but that xg204R, and it won't allow me to enable 120hz on my XSX display setting AND VRR. I think I tried everything...and looks my only option is "auto-detect" on (which I think stays at 60hz) and VRR enab...

Help with XSX and VRR on my Viewsonic XG240R
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could answer a question that I have...I just got the XSX, and needed to go into the display settings and change "auto-detect" to HDMI, which is the only way it it allows me to check 120hz with 1080p. But, as soon as I do this, variable refresh rate become disabled...

Re: Is the ASUS VG259QM still good when FPS is around 180-200?
I now recommend 240Hz+ IPS panels as my favourite. Just make sure you have a bit extra refreshrate headroom. 144Hz IPS-vs-TN still gives TN an edge, 240Hz IPS-vs-TN still gives TN an edge (a smidge). But throw in refresh rate headroom, and it's pratically solved. The new 360Hz IPS monitor has less ...

Re: Is the ASUS VG259QM still good when FPS is around 180-200?
I'm torn between a TN - ViewSonic XG240R and an IPS - AW2521, MSI MAG25, or Acer XB253Q. Do you have any suggestions for lowest input lag without sacrificing response time for competitive play at around 120 fps? Since Warzone is cross play and I will be playing on a series X, I learned on this forum...

Re: Is the ASUS VG259QM still good when FPS is around 180-200?
I heard the ASUS VG259QM is not good for 60 Hz and consoles, but I'm wondering are there any problems when FPS hovers around 180-200? My main game is Rocket League and I can run that at a stable 250 FPS which is why I want a 240+ Hz monitor, but I can only run around 180-200 in other games like Mod...

RLCScontender, I wanted to say that I read this forum over the past couple of days and I appreciate all the testing/posting results you've compiled. I play competitive Warzone on console and I will probably be buying/building a higher end PC next year - I was looking at the AW2521HF, MAG251RX, and X...
