Re: Top 27" 1440p high refresh rate gaming monitors?
I have an older Dell S2716DG which is now my secondary monitor. When I used it for my main it did a pretty good job gaming. So a Dell gaming monitor I can recommend if you want to keep costs down. I was hoping one of the "top" 27" 1440p monitors would go on a deep discount sale during BF but no luck...

Anything with similar function/specs to the Asus PG279QM
I currently using a ASUS PG279QZ and want to use it as my secondary monitor on my desk once I found a suitable replacement. I had settled on the Asus PG279QM but saw the price of $899! That price is hard to swallow even though video reviewers say they saw noticeable improvement between the two. Is t...

Re: Looking for the best strobing 1440p+ >144hz monitor in 2021
I know what your saying. I'm sensitive to ghosting after growing up gaming on CRTs. Also my Benq was a great monitor but having the hardware upgrade bug I buy a new monitor every couple of years. I'm currently on the hunt for something to replace my ASUS ROG Swift PG279QZ. From watching a youtube vi...

Re: Alienware AW2721D
Bit of a bump.. I'm considering replacing my xl2730 1440p 144hz monitor with the AW2721d. I'm a tad concerned though as a few years ago I grabbed the pg279q and found that I struggled to use it in some fast paced games as well as counter strike, etc. I understand IPS has come quite a bit since then...

Re: Looking for: best 27" 240hz+ counter-strike monitor
While I haven't played CS:GO in a couple of years. I have played FPS since the 90s and come from the spoiled CRT generation. ;) When I switched from CRT to LCD because of LAN parties around 2005ish it was extremely painful seeing the motion blur and ghosting. LCD have come a long way but I still loo...

Re: G-Sync does not address motion blur [And How To Fix Motion Blur]
WOW! Best response ever in a forum post. :) So Chief Blur Buster set me straight. When I initially switched from CRT to LCD I was testing with Unreal Tournament 2k3. I ran up to a metal grate fence with a sign on it. When strafing quickly back and forth with the CRT I could read it. With the LCD it ...

Re: G-Sync does not address motion blur [And How To Fix Motion Blur]
Sick of Blur, I hear you loud and clear. I've been sick of blur since I moved from CRTs to LCDs what 15 to 20 years ago. I've been looking/waiting ever since. The best panel to eliminate as much blur as possible are TN panels but everyone always beats them up because of viewing angles/color etc. I'v...
