I suspect 60 Hz strobe is definitely something it takes some time to get used, especially if you haven't used it for 15 years like some of us. I wish you (us) luck with this and I hope they don't just make their own shell certification - "BlurWrecker - we approve all of our members' top models!"

All monitors dim to an extent when strobing, but if you use DyAc-branded voltage boosting, they are less likely to dim nearly as much. You're linking framerate to the Hz (User tweaking), not the other way around Let's say I only care about 200, 300+ cd/m2 brightness while strobing, what are my options? Also, can you force strobing at 90 or 100 times per second while setting a framerate limiter to 90/100 fps one of such monitors? 1...
