Re: Blur Busters / TestUFO cited by more than 2 dozen peer reviewed research papers

Awesome to hear that! Blur Busters has clearly been instrumental in driving innovation, spreading good information, and helping educate the public. Hopefully, we see less and less reviewers who post incorrect or incomplete info downplaying the benefits of stuff like higher frequencies and lower late...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

World's first 8kHz mouse (without manual driver hacks) is a good marketing point... The Atompalm Hydrogen will almost certainly be releasing prior to this mouse It also has various other goodies besides the 8khz polling rate, like set & latch debounce, super low weight, etc. Time will tell whether ...

Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag

So.... "Properly Designed" doesn't five-sigma-out the FCC-violating EMI super emitters that probably exists by the millions throughout North America -- who knows how many there are -- but it's somewhere "Rare enough that it doesn't affect a single beta tester" but also "Common enough to affect a fe...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Can't believe no one has asked, when do you plan to release this mouse? :D It's been asked. Razer said the prototype works well but there are other things like game compatibility they they want to work out with the devs first prior to release. So no date yet but hopefully soon. World's first 8kHz m...

Re: [Power/EMI] I discover why sometime PC become fast and low input lag and otherwise feel high input lag

hm, damn ... that is interesting and worrying at the same time @KingJosh2475 and @nuggify .. I can easily see consoles like xboxes and playstations being affected by EMI problems since they have to be connected to power, so in Josh's case I guess I got my answer, but as for you nuggify and the phen...

Re: NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - How It Works & Why You Want To Use It

From: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/guides/system-latency-optimization-guide Side note: Funny how when money is involved and marketing is a thing that the truth comes forward, a lot of latency optimizers and people who've been "tweaking" have been constantly told nothing they touch will have...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

I can already feel the benefits of 8000 Hz at the Windows desktop. Definitely. You know my image? Do you create music? And know about harmonics & beat frequencies between two frequencies? (poll Hz and refresh Hz) Even as just a deaf guy, I know about beat frequencies shaking the walls and vibrating...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

There's no reason not to have 8kHz (or even higher when available) for all future mice as it should become the norm. The biggest reason is usability. Once all games/applications catch up, this assertion would be true. But as of now, when the rest of the ecosystem hasn't caught up, it wouldn't make ...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

Higher polling rates could've and should've been done years ago but better now than never and very happy to see this in addition to the Hydrogen. As a claw-fingertip grip user, I hope we'll also see a something similar to the Deathadder Mini (or even an updated ergo design) but with Focus+ and 8kHz ...
