Re: Why is the Dell S2721DGF more expensive than the Gigabyte M27Q?
Seems like the M27Q is better all around with the response time and color gamut. That is very aggressive pricing, wow. Looks like the best bang for the buck monitor of 2021.

Re: Good News Everyone: 60Hz Single Strobe Options
Is it worth waiting for a new 60hz strobing monitor in 2021? It seems that Eve has a spotty reputation and the only other monitor is the XL2411.

Re: Trying the Vertical Total tweak on the Acer XV272U
Be very careful about these bugs if you have a voltage-boosted model of a strobe backlight -- if strobing becomes brighter than nonstrobed Brightness 100%, then the LEDs are being too overvoltaged (overdriven too much & burning them). Well that sounds terrifying. I hope I didn't do too much damage....

Trying the Vertical Total tweak on the Acer XV272U
I tried the vertical total tweak to reduce crosstalk on my Acer XV272U monitor. Crosstalk doesn't seem to be affected all. Interestingly, increasing the vertical total increases the brightness of the monitor with BFI enabled, and motion looks blurrier compared to the default settings. Just wanted to...

Thanks for the replies, everyone. I've learned a lot since joining here. I'm completely obsessed with motion clarity now. Will definitely be on the lookout for the next best monitor.

It's a shame that plasma tech is dead
My Panasonic plasma TV from 2010 has incredible motion clarity. I don't think anything comes close to plasma with motion clarity. There's less eye straining too because the flickering is at 600hz. Imagine if we had plasma computer monitors. *Sigh*

Measuring MPRT on my XV272U
I measured the MPRT of my monitor at 120hz and I got a persistence value of 8.3ms and an MCR value 120. Does this mean that this is as good as it gets for motion blur at 120hz? I'm paranoid about my new monitor and was wondering if it's possible to have a lower persistence/blur.
