Re: NVIDIA G-Sync Pulsar monitor - Asus ROG Strix XG27AQNGV
It seems the XG2431 is still worth keeping for 60hz content. With PureXP+ at extreme, the visual clarity is superior than gsync pulsar at 25% duty cycle, assuming Nvidia will add 60hz support soon. Gsync-pulsar seems to be designed for gamers who play shooters with high fps, and that's disappointing ...

How clear is moving text when enabling interpolation? Does the text in this video, for example, maintain clarity in an individual frame: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vigX3H7WX5Q

Does this support BFI with arbitrary applications? Something like Lossless Scaling but with BFI instead. If not, I would highly be interested in such a feature. My use case would be to watch 60fps Youtube videos on Chrome or Firefox.

Re: Offline testing [Available as a paid service]
I would be willing to pay for offline testing. A Steam release would be a great idea.

I didn't realize this was a thing until I bought the MSI MAG 275QPF X30 and enabled strobing. There's a noticeable red trail. Now I have to look out for which IPS monitors have QD backlights.

Offline testing [Available as a paid service]
Will there ever be offline support for all the tests on testufo.com? Perhaps an executable or a collection of webpages? Just a proposal

Interesting. How does the shader behave when there are frame drops?

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
From various posts and articles, the Chief always emphasized 1px of motion blur at 1000 px per second motion as the gold standard. That's what I'm assuming as his benchmark for perfect clarity.
It's a scientific formula, not a gold standard.
The gold standard is 0 pixels.
If you have 0.1ms ...

Re: 480hz vs. 500hz for 60fps locked games?
If your refresh rate isn't a multiple of your frame rate, you will get stuttering because some of your frames will last longer than other frames. The difference between 480hz and 500hz is small so the stuttering will be minor, but it depends on your sensitivity to stuttering.
