Re: Most competive configuration for FPS Games (155hz)

If you really want to be super competitive I do know one trick that might decrease input lag. I have never seen it tested so I cannot confirm, but your gpu will be able to get 5% more fps. A competitive overclocker discovered this trick and had his gpu 5% higher than everybody else's and it blew eve...

Re: Most competive configuration for FPS Games (155hz)

I just wrote a massive response explaining everything in detail but it had me log in again so it deleted everything I wrote. Extremely frustrating. I am going to tell you what the best options are. Use ultra-low latency, gsync, vsync enabled in nvidia control panel, vsync disabled in-game, in-game f...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade from a ViewSonic VX2739 which I've had for about 7 or so years. I'm currently eyeing the XG270 because the features sound nice and I'm not really interested in going higher than 1080p. In the past I believe I've only ever had TN panels so this is likely going to be my fir...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

Yeah i have the same issue with mine. Though I stopped noticing it after I turned the Eco mode down to Optimize or Conserve. G-Sync does work on mine but its flawed, I can enable it but sometimes during frame drops the screen just turns black. Presumably VRR is turning itself off and on again. Goog...

Mine has the same issue except it's only on the left and closer to the center.

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

Maybe I doesn't bother me as much because I always have a lamp on behind my monitor for ambient light. It reduces eye strain and isn't blinding when you try to look around the room.

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

This is a little off topic, but I have been wanting to ask you this for a long time. Aperture grille looked amazing. The odyssey+ has technology that lets light shine in between all pixels in all directions. This looks better than aperture grille. People even use very expensive projectors for this e...

Re: Viewsonic XG270 with 'PureXP" MBR [pre-tuned by Blur Busters!]

Advanced VT Hacks Are Mostly Unnecessary With XG270 PureXP is designed to be easy & user friendly (like ULMB), while being more flexible (multisync at any custom Hz above 75Hz). Like most 240Hz panels (so this is already public information), the XG270 uses fixed max-Hz scanrate at the panel level. ...
