Very true. The variables produced from the combination of maximum refresh rate with maximum sustain framerate on an unsynced display, along with the multiple possible ratios between the two, definitely complicates the ability to give one answer on the "G-SYNC vs unsynced" input latency question. I'm now very curious to see whether Microsoft+NVIDIA has yet successfully eliminated the technologically solvable 1-frame-penalty for windowed GSYNC mode. As am I. I'm glad @swarna brought it up, else I wouldn't have thought to test it this time around; I rarely use the option, and play most games ...

@jorimt I'm pretty sure you already know, but just in case you don't, there's no need to do any weird mouse mods to measure strafing. In CS:GO, you can bind the mouse key to anything, including strafing or looking. Thanks for the heads up. Since I haven't attempted it yet, I wasn't sure if I had to...
