Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support

I need an RTSS limit of 108 or an in-game limit of 109 which RTSS then measures as 107. With these numbers there is may be one tiny hiccup really close to the bottom in every few 10-20 seconds. An in-game limit of 110 which measured as 108 was close to the RTSS 108 result but not as great (those sm...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support

Isn't that typical of G-Sync without V-Sync? During frametime spikes (from asset loads, etc), yes, typical. But tearing being seen with framerates well within the G-SYNC range (say, 60-80 FPS @120Hz) when there aren't frametime spikes occurring, no, not typical. It usually means the given game (or ...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support

My experience says otherwise. Frostbite3 based games in DX11 mode never seem to respond to LLM's queue manipulation (judging by the obvious effects of the renderaheadlimit dev.console parameter changes but no apparent effects of LLM) but the fps auto-cap of Ultra (usually) works correctly. There yo...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support

I just noticed NULL doesn't autocap FPS anymore (Driver 442.19). So what's really the difference between NULL and "On" then? Since there's supposedly no input lag difference. As far as I'm aware, the NULL auto-cap with G-SYNC only engages in (non-DX12/Vulkan) games that allow external manipulation ...

Re: ViewSonic XG270 - Vertical Refresh inconsistent while G-Sync enabled

Does this behaviour affect the monitors longevity? Does it cause other issues? If so, is there a way I can fix this? You're using a G-SYNC Compatible FreeSync monitor, which means the monitor's built-in readouts were probably originally intended for native FreeSync functionality, and any driver imp...

Re: Odd fluctuations with G Sync monitor

Oh, interesting, I hadn't thought about that - I'm going by the counter that my monitor has built in, but running MSI lists my FPS as 60 like it should be. I have no idea if MSI would measure the frames a game spits out or the refresh rate. Could it be that the internal measuring stick on the monit...

Re: Odd fluctuations with G Sync monitor

Sometimes, when I have a game that hovers between 60-80 FPS, I'll want to just lock it at 60 for a smooth experience. But whenever I set that game to 60, either through the application or through the NVidia control panel, my monitor's refresh rate doesn't follow. Instead, it will often oscillate be...

Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion

I have a stupid question (I think I should know the answer but I seem to have forgotten the details which lead to it): Do external framerate limiters (nV V3, RTSS, etc) add any delay (simply from being hooked into the chain) while the fps is below the cap (due to CPU and/or GPU performance limitati...

Re: How do I setup GSync properly?

Yeah I did read it but its so much and hard to get it all together, because when i have LLM on Ultra and got my cap on 237 it still overrides it and itll be 226, G-SYNC + V-SYNC + LLM "Ultra" = Max Pre-rendered Frames "1" + auto FPS limiter G-SYNC + V-SYNC + LLM "On" = Max Pre-rendered Frames "1" O...

Re: How do I setup GSync properly?

Wait actually, what would be the best settings for competitive Fortnite? Im confused Confused about what point specifically? For some reason my game feels slow responding when I have the low latency on ultra, and I never see anyone have this FPS cap 226 only 237 aka low latency on ON Did you not re...
