Re: G-Sync above 240 Hz - Why use V-Sync?

I've seen the interesting test's blur busters did on G-Sync + V-Sync. I don't really get why I'd want to turn on V-Sync in the fist place though. So far I have seen literally 0 screen tearing (mb I missed it, but it's minor either way) with only G-Sync enabled. Regarding G-SYNC + V-SYNC, read entry...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support

^ Too early to say for certain, but we do have precedence (at least with G-SYNC) from my earlier (non-official) tests of NULL here: https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?p=45250#p45250 With G-SYNC, I'm assuming the input lag levels are similar to NULL (probably tapping into the same limiting ...

Re: Driver 441.08: Ultra-Low Latency Now with G-SYNC Support

jorimt let's compare the two modes: G-SYNC + V-SYNC (NVCP) + LLM "Ultra" w/138 (auto) FPS Limit G-SYNC + Fast-SYNC (NVCP) + LLM "Ultra" Assuming the framerate can be sustained at the auto-cap in both these scenarios, then the input lag between the two would be about the same, with G-SYNC + Fast Syn...

Re: Cap your fps people (battlenonsense)

LLM "On" (MPRF "1") is safe to use in non-GPU-bound situations. Do you know if On is better than Ultra when non-GPU-bound? I only know that from Battle(non)sense's test video, it appears "Ultra" may have slightly higher input lag than "On" in non-GPU-bound-situations. But that's in situations witho...

Low Latency ON? Or turn it off?
Low Latency Mode "On" with that configuration is fine.

Re: Looking for an upgrade

how does freesync and g-sync compatible compare to true g-sync? Can you "feel" the difference? Depends on the FreeSync model, and whether it is officially "G-SYNC Compatible." Biggest possible differences between G-SYNC w/module and software-driven G-SYNC is 1) LFC range, and 2) dynamic overdrive. ...

Re: Set monitor 240hz to 180hz (Alienware 240hz Freesync)

So I thought, if I set my Alienware 240hz to 180hz in the nvidia panel (would that be the best way?) In custom resolution options (should I just put 180hz full hd, or something else?) And limit 177fps in the game and keep using Would Gsync + Vsync ON on the nvidia dashboard be the best solution for...

Re: G-Sync+vsync question

99% of the time it doesn't matter; the in-game V-SYNC option and the NVCP V-SYNC option behave the same when used with G-SYNC. However, there are rare 1% instances where the in-game option may cause unexpected behavior. Regarding Apex Legends in particular, refer to one of my recent posts in another...
