Re: Apex Pro TKL, Improvement in Input Latency and Measurments against other keyboards.

No. See hall-effect (physics) on how it works. Analogue refers to how things worked back in the days or like for example controllers do: You can choose what happens at what %-pressed. E.g.: Slight tap lets you slow walk a bit, a full press means a full sprint. The Apex Pro doesn't have that, only t...

Re: Apex Pro TKL, Improvement in Input Latency and Measurments against other keyboards.

Please use the term hall-effect switches and differentiate between "analogue" and "hall-effect". It's not the same. It can be, but it's not the same. Also, Steelseries mentions the razer optical switches in a blog about the Apex Pro and they said they wanted even faster switches, which brought them ...

Re: "ultra" setting in low latency mode. question.

What happens when you set Ultra-Low-Latency mode on the global profile vs per game in a scenario where the GPU has high usage (90%-97%)? Would the latter mean it pre-renders a picture for all programs but for program where ULL is set? Also, in a scenario where the game has non-limited fps, and they ...

Re: Do G-Sync compatible monitors on Nvidia GPUs still have more input lag in 2020?

At least my monitor doesn't have a VRR setting on the monitor control panel. In this case, definitely the Nvidia driver was faulty - as I'm talking about the right side: http://prntscr.com/raw5qo Hence, we're back to "Do G-Sync compatible monitors on Nvidia GPUs still have more input lag in 2020?" -...

Do G-Sync compatible monitors on Nvidia GPUs still have more input lag in 2020?

See: https://youtu.be/L42nx6ubpfg?t=858 When G-Sync compatible is turned off in FreeSync monitors, it seemed like they had much more input lag (16ms at 138 fps / 138 hz vs 144 hz) Is this still the case in 2020? It's been a year since the test, but I haven't seen this issue getting any attention nor...

Hey man, do you remember the XF250Q 255 hz overclock settings? Would be very much interested in them.

Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion

Wait, what? How does that work regarding G-Sync as the refresh rate and the low fps are in sync?
So 180 Hz should be better than 160 Hz (on an Asus PG248Q) - if yes, how much? (I ask because colors/contrast is degraded at such 'overclock')

Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion

Capping at 100 fps when I more often than not reach 120-140 is not something I'd see as improvement to be honest (at least not perceived)

Re: Blur Buster's G-SYNC 101 Series Discussion

Sorry, I think I've posted this question at some point, but this new (?) research makes me feel a little uncertain. You guys are talking about added input lag when NOT using RTSS to cap when having G-Sync on. But G-Sync only has added input lag if fps > refresh rate, right? So my assumption: If my P...
