Re: RTINGS test 240Hz HP Omen X 25f - Lowest input lag yet

@Notty_PT Plus the monitor is cheap. Depends, price at the moment in Europe around €380-€420 is not what I call cheap ;) Keep in mind this monitor has no black frame insertion, black Stabilizer, built-in speakers, swivel or rotate function if you need those kind of things. @masneb The HP website li...

Re: RTINGS test 240Hz HP Omen X 25f - Lowest input lag yet

Seems like a lot of people on here just buy based on your recommendation, even though you don't actually have the monitor yet. I've looked over the RTings website and they don't list the panel. The HP website lists this as a 1ms monitor, so I assume it's not using the new AUO panel. It's very diffi...

Re: RTINGS test 240Hz HP Omen X 25f - Lowest input lag yet

We were all waiting for the 240hz masterpiece model as we already had 2 or 3 masterpieces on 144hz department.

Seems the wait is over :)

Re: RTINGS test 240Hz HP Omen X 25f - Lowest input lag yet

So tel me @garetjax how do you feel the overdrive? You used an outstanding monitor overdrive wise and you never experienced the inferior overdrive of most 240hz models (apart from Xg248Q). Do you notice any overshoot? Any specific colours with more problems, etc? How is the responsiveness input lag ...

Re: RTINGS test 240Hz HP Omen X 25f - Lowest input lag yet

That´s right, I want to read everyone´s opinions on the monitor! I can´t try one until September but will keep reading this. Excited to know more about a 2,6ms Rtins input lag model with a true 2ms 0-80% response time <3 <3 :D

Re: RTINGS test 240Hz HP Omen X 25f - Lowest input lag yet

Even worse when the author is very arrogant and won´t accept criticism at all. If you go tell him that his tests are very outdated and innacurate, he will tell you that they are as good as the Rtings ones. From that point you know it´s useless to keep debating.... Plus when he told me no one is able...

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

Well, eventually there will exist GPUs capable of 200fps+ 1440p across a lot of titles, but that will take some time, at least 1 year, being optimistic (with a 3080ti maybe?), as it needs to be at least 50% better than the 2080ti (I highly doubt it). And the thing is, we can have the argument of a "...

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

So you think a 2080ti (20% faster than my GPU) sustains 200fps+ at 1440p? Lol Plus at 1440p the effects of 240hz are reduced as you have more pixels creating blur. And the mouse behaviour/aiming at 1440p also very different and not ideal for competitive games. I can give my opinions, this is a forum...
