Re: Asus XG248Q 240hz - Got one! My impressions

This is without a doubt one of the top competitive gaming monitors. Probably only the BenQ ones are comparable (just a guess). The upcoming MSI NXG251 is expected to be even better, but it certainly won't be available for 339  when it comes out, so congrats! That's a really good price for this...

Re: Need help, 240hz doesnt feel the same "monitor asus xg24

Yes OD = Overdrive. On this monitor the Level 3 is the most balanced one regarding pixel response time + overdrive. At LvL 4 and LvL 5 I start noticing the overshoot on every webpage, not to mention games, specially with bright colours. I got one of these monitors myself and is by far the best 240hz...

For one-screen-width-per-second horizontal panning motion, measured in the length of TestUFO blur trailing size behind moving UFO objects: --> 1024x768 60fps motion -- motionblurs 1024/60ths screenwidth (motion blur trail length of 17 pixels -- roughly 17x blurrier than stationary graphics), 17:1 d...

Try to use 120hz or 144hz for 2 hours and then switch back to 240hz, trust me you will notice it again!

Re: XL2540 with 500hz polling rate

Hello guys, i wanna buy a Zowie XL2540 but i got a Zowie EC2-B Mouse and i prefer to play at 500hz polling rate. For Information i am just playing PUBG very competitive. Re: Closest potential 1440p 240hz monitor release dates?

Some of us want 240hz but don't want to downgrade to 1080p and don't want a 2nd monitor. Plenty of use cases for 1440p 240Hz. We might be more picky about static-image resolution, while having the bonus benefits of 240Hz. Whether talking about motion blur limitations, resolution limitations, or wha...

Re: Closest potential 1440p 240hz monitor release dates?

do you really want 1440p 240hz? 1080p 240hz offers better motion clarity than 1440p 240hz, because the trail is gonna be smaller. The higher the resolution the more hz you need to have comparable motion clarity. So me personally I would always prefer 1080p 240hz for moving images. Resolutions are a...
