Re: Best windows for competitive gaming

I'm guessing people who use Windows 7 now purely use it on a gaming rig?

Microsoft have no support for it anymore do they?

Re: my fps wont feel smooth even its high?

I have the Acer Predator version and the quality of the image is pretty blurry, there is no sharpness slider but you can increase sharpness with Nvidia. Also I have to turn down AA or turn it off completely because it makes it so blurry. This is how the monitors are, theres nothing wrong with it. Al...

Try turning Gsync and Vsync off and see how it feels.

Re: Best windows for competitive gaming

I am interested in links, especially FSE vs FSE in an apples-vs-apples. There are many competing factors at play, including the Windows compositor. Historically with W7 you could disable the dwm.exe compositor, though that increased desktop stutter to an extent. But as long as you played single-mon...

Lowest possible is all syncs off.

VRR isn't laglass, its just much less than Vsync.

Also don't max your GPU, cap the FPS so your GPU isn't going over 90-95%.

Also don't use Ultra, leave it set to ON(1).

Re: Lowest input lag monitor for Nintendo switch

I see.

I don't know if a splitter is going to do that, don't you usually have to choose what you are using 1 at a time?

As for further input delay I would guess it might add delay because you're putting the input through another device inbetween the monitor and console.. But I'm not sure.

Re: Fluctuating variable refresh rate / Gsync going crazy

If it was that causing stutter and frame drops it would be affecting everything though, that wouldn't be the reason both readouts are different, with Gsync on both will be the same even if you are getting drops and stutters.

Re: Lowest input lag monitor for Nintendo switch

You've lost me now..

The head to head ports are for LAN tournaments just connecting them both back to back.

A console isn't like a PC where you can multi monitor if thats what you are talking about.

Re: Lowest input lag monitor for Nintendo switch

What do you mean connecting them together? Like for a PC set up?
