Re: Found the best gaming monitor by accident

There are many aspects to "blur reduction" in some XL2456 wins, in others wins XN253Q Pbmiprzx. I'm selling my XL2456 and keeping XN253Q Pbmiprzx. Yes, I've tried XL2456 in 144 Hz and to me the motion on it looks and feels worse. There is no general consensus. Read this: https://forums.blurbusters.c...

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

Honestly, out of all the monitors I've tested (including 144 Hz 4K IPS) Lenovo Y27gq-25 showed the best picture quality! It shows as little motion blur as 1080p 0.5 ms screens (without ULMB). The most pleasant monitor to game on!

Re: Found the best gaming monitor by accident

What makes you say that Lenovo Y27gq-25 has ULMB? Do you have proof?
Asus pg258q is not a contender to XN253Q Pbmiprzx or XN253Q Xbmiprzx at all.

Also dark boost, doesn't brighten dark parts but only brightens light parts. Crazy fast monitor with great picture quality, I'm using 27GL850 and it has worse picture quality.

Re: Found the best gaming monitor by accident

jombotski , so I've spent 5 days with Lenovo Y27gq-25 and 1440p on it is amazing! I'm going to miss it but will stick with XN253QP anyway, for better motion clarity as 120 Hz + ULMB on it is gives less blur than Lenovo Y27gq-25 at 240 Hz. Tenobaal , can you give me a link about that update that swi...

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq

I've been using this monitor for 5 days and returning it today. It is Amazing! Very fast, faster than BenQ XL2456 without DyAc, I don't see ghosting and reverse ghosting on 160 Hz + Gsync. Good: +Amazingly bright, 450-nits +Amazing color, better than Aorus AD27QD and Acer XV273K, providing you are n...

Re: Found the best gaming monitor by accident

From my screenshots you can see that frametime graph is enabled. At 68% GPU load there is no point in reducing details. I wasn't sensitive to the stutters, but became very sensitive to them after a year with BenQ XL2456 @ 240 Hz + DyAc. Do you play with G-Sync? If yes, than you're not playing at 24...

Re: Found the best gaming monitor by accident

I've got the XN253QX with 240Hz and 237FPS in Siege is not a problem (I play with downsampling WQHD). Although I prefer 144Hz+ULMB@70. Maybe the difference is minor but why take 144Hz when 240Hz is available? It only makes sense if you can't afford the XN253QX. I agree, I would take 240 Hz when it'...

Re: Acer Predator XN253QXbmiprzx

Do you guys think that there might be an advantage of going for 144 Hz version of this monitor instead of 240 Hz? Would 144 Hz provide less strobe cross talk at 144 FPS? viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5823
