Re: XF252Q low-latency turns off / frame skipping(?)

Looking for low hanging fruit, just stop dude. Don't know what this means, maybe "easy answer". And yes, it does work, currently in a discussion with TFT and Rtings Point me to it if you may. Asus monitors don't have a setting for that, it's built-in, and my question is about Asus. Don't assume it ...

Re: XF252Q low-latency turns off / frame skipping(?)

asus GameFast Input technology work with freesync/gsync Does it work at all or is it just marketing? There is no information on internet on how it works and if it works with FreeSync. Only thing I found is this on guru3d: "ASUS has implemented GameFast Input Technology, which bypasses time-sapping ...

Re: XF252Q low-latency turns off / frame skipping(?)

No but all monitors show this. If you have FreeSync on, the refresh rate is constantly changing even if you have an fps limit, if it's off it will show a fixed value.

Re: Difference Between 2ms (80%) and 4ms (80%) GtG?

Maybe not a noticeable difference but there is always a difference, in blur.
If you are in no hurry just wait for the 2ms to get cheaper.

If you say what monitor you bought, then users can say something.

Re: Framerate all good frametime all good but game looks cho

If the game is sttutering, lagging and choppy, and when you unplug the 60hz monitor you have a different experience, that will not be placebo and easy to know.
Also, use FreeSync to see if image gets better.

Re: Framerate all good frametime all good but game looks cho

If the secondary monitor is the problem you would have issues always, not just some days. Seems more like internet connection. But to be sure simply unplug the 60hz monitor.
I run Fortnite at 165hz with FreeSync and around 100 fps. Super smooth.

Re: XF252Q low-latency turns off / frame skipping(?)

First off, it can't be turned on when FreeSync is enabled, it's greyed out. What I've also noticed is, when you turn it on, then turn on Freesync (while confirming it's on in the menu) it stays on, even if you power off/on the monitor. However when you enter a game sometimes it will disable low-lat...

Re: About Asus VG258QR input lag

Did someone test the input lag in every mode? To be honest i dont really notice any input lag difference between the 3 modes i use (racing,rts/rpg and fps). I don't notice a difference either. As for Vividpixel it certainly does add input lag from the moment that the image needs further processing ...
