Re: About Asus VG258QR input lag

I read the whole thread to collect all testimonials to make sense out of this. It all leads to what I said: FreeSync. Little bit of ghosting with 80 and 100. (80 acceptable, 100 not for me) Perfect image at 60 Trace @165hz He is the thread owner. TF 80/100 works for me. In ufo ghosting test there is...

Re: About Asus VG258QR input lag

It was for you to pick one, but from your answer I guess you mean option a).

Well, that settles it. I see that light when G-Sync Compatible is disabled, meaning your FreeSync was not correcting overdrive even if it was enabled both in NVCP and monitor.

Re: About Asus VG258QR input lag

Trace Free at 100? How you can you even use that? Just by moving my mouse cursor at Trace Free 100 I immedialy notice inverse ghosting on the pointer! Completly impossible to use. I don't want to reactivate the discussion, but since I never got to understand what you were seeing this will pretty mu...

Re: Asus XG258 Questionable Overdrive

Why don't you try XG248Q then?
According to Notty it has good overdrive with low input lag.
A more agressive coating but I would take that over a bad overdrive.

Re: AMD Radeon AntiLag

Is it possible that Intel HD graphics has less input lag than Nvidia or AMD?
I'm thinking that since it's integrated in the cpu maybe it takes less time to process things.
Was this ever measured by real tests?
Also, there is no pre-rendered frames option with Intel, so how many is it using?

Re: About Asus VG258QR input lag

I wouldn't say it's normal, just the overdrive that is not accurate.
I can notice it too. Try ASCR, seemed to improve a bit. And maybe sharpness setting.

Mine is 49,5 cm so that's too low for me. I have it perfectly aligned with my eyes.
Shame, I was actually thinking of selling mine and get that one and still save alot of money.
