Re: 05/22/2020 UPDATE. The IPS 240hz monitor tier list.(I've measured/tried the all) and my honest explanation why.

Unwanted reaction time delays is plagued with 27" monitors, i first realized this when playing. Reaction time latency is the time it takes for your retina or your eyes to MOVE relative to how big the monitor is. I went on rocket league and ran a play where it requires me to move my eyeballs/retina ...

The VG279QM review from Rtings is finally available (https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/asus/vg279qm) RLCScontender was right about 60hz being unplayable with 40.4ms of input lag. However when looking at the Native Refresh Rate (240hz) input lag it's incredibly low, just 1.7ms and 1.8ms with VR...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread

Anyone have this in a dual monitor set up side by side with an IPS for daily use? Is it weird going back and forth between IPS and TN throughout the day?

Ughhh. Trying to choose between XL2546S and the predator XB273X. I already Have an ips ultra wide that I like the colors on for video editing which is why I’m thinking of TN for best performance with the Zowie, but then also very tempted by the predator because I mostly play with g sync ON these day...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread

My precise question is, does it double strobe at 100hz? Or does it single strobe? You can just look at 60hz and 100hz...if both have an obvious double image across the -entire- screen like 60hz, then its double all the way. If 100hz has at least part of the screen with a nice single smooth image wi...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread

Hi, if I buy the XL2546S now, can I update the firmware later on manually or do I need to send back the monitor to BenQ? Probably there's a huge difference between v001 and v002 when it comes to strobing on lower frequencies... It's finally on stock in Germany but I'm not sure if they will send it ...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S/XL2546S Owners Thread

1 thing I've noticed: With my old Eizo FS2735 and Blur Reduction (reduced Brightness) I've got headache after some time, but with DyAc+ (full brightness) not, I really like it. Tried it today with and without in Valorant. i was afraid i would get a head ache from strobing thats why i didnt get the ...

Re: Im looking for competitive monitor.

and could not find any info if ulmb works on it and if the blur reduction would work for an amd gpu. ulmb is a monitor setting so it will work with any gpu and I think the vg259/27qm would be the best monitor for motion blur currently because it can run at 280hz which means you will have a slight a...

So I'm currently sitting with both the XL2746S and the XL2546S while waiting on a supplemental LG CX 48. I'm curious the consensus on:

- 27 vs 25
- If anyone has any conclusive information around the 6bit+FRC vs full 8bit?

Thanks!
you already have them both? how are they?
