Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)

Hey guys, the search doesn't give me results, what's the panel name of your VG259QM? I just got a new unit of this monitor yesterday and I'm not sure if the panel is the same. Seems like this unit is a newer batch (Dec 2020, previously had all from Nov 2020 I think). The panel name on my unit is Qis...

Re: BenQ XL2540K or Asus VG258QM

Hey Speancer, I'm currently in the process of returning my XL2546K because of too much inverse ghosting. (for some reason, on mine I can still see inverse ghosting even on AMA OFF and OD gain on 0). Did you experience the same problem on your XL2540K? It looked similar in the UFO Test for both XL25...

Re: BenQ XL2540K or Asus VG258QM

Paneltype: Qisda Q250HTA00 just like the PG258Q LMAO, so VG258QM actually uses 5-year-old TN panel, the same as PG258Q  Sort of funny. QISDA is Benq's parent company ...... BenQ is trying so hard to get hated these days or something, I don't know :D First they release XL2546K, which is pretty ...

Re: BenQ XL2540K or Asus VG258QM

I can't reply, my messages need to be moderated....tomorrow I can test the monitor, what tests do you suggest and with which settings? EDIT: Ok, I can reply immediatly now :D Some UFO Ghosting Test (https://www.testufo.com/ghosting) videos would probably be the best, on overdrive Level 3, 4 and 5 (...

Hey man, can you post response time results for overdrive Level 4 and Level 5 please?
there is only the response time of level 3, for now is not the full review :/
Yeah I know already, no worries, thanks anyway (somehow I've been notified just now that you replied)! :)

Not available at the moment. The ELMB Sync seems to be much better implemented than vg259/79qm.
I see, thanks anyway :)

Re: BenQ XL2540K or Asus VG258QM

It's clear that Benq designs overdrives to be used specifically with Dyac but I honestly can't really see any overshoot with either AMA High or Premium and Dyac OFF when playing at 240hz unless I use a 240/480fps camera or I look closely at an ufotest. I wonder how you don't see any overshoot, I ca...

Re: Anyone else find 60 Hz unworkable?

I feel you, although I have much more tolerance for it, because I don't get physically ill like you do, but of course, using 60 Hz is very uncomfortable to me and it feels... painful :D After I switched from 60 Hz to 144/165 Hz back in the days, the difference was so enormously huge that I was stunn...
