Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)

How does 280hz/240hz ELMB compare to Dyac/MBR on the XL2546 and the MAG? I am a strictly peripheral CS:GO player (stare-at-crosshair-only aiming technique) and thus I have very little interest in strobing (because it basically only helps in eye tracking situations and I don't do eye tracking in com...

For example, I now also have the prototype 8000 Hz Razer mouse, and it's helping 360 Hz mucho.
How is 8000 Hz polling rate helping with 360 Hz display experience?

I would love to know how the Omen X25f compares to the VG259QM in real time gaming.
Looking forward to you letting us know :)
If you're still interested in my opinion, take a look at this post of mine.

Re: NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - How It Works & Why You Want To Use It

Just to let you know, I am especially curious how Reflex behaves in non-GPU-bound scenarios, so I'm looking forward to seeing your test results. I guess them results would give me the ultimate answer whether Reflex is completely useless for me or not, as I am never GPU-bound in my competitive play,...

Re: LLM On vs ultra

So there's really no harm in leaving LLM to "On," in CS:GO. Not 100% sure if LLM works in CS:GO though, as I haven't tested it. Finally, concerning Reflex, I wouldn't be surprised if Nvidia ultimately adds it to that game, but I wouldn't expect much improvement if they did. Thanks again for your an...

Re: NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - How It Works & Why You Want To Use It

Just to let you know, I am especially curious how Reflex behaves in non-GPU-bound scenarios I plan on ultimately testing LLM (both "On" and "Ultra") in CS:GO for thoroughness sake as well. I'm honestly curious if that setting does anything in that game. My guess, where input lag reduction is concer...

Re: NVIDIA Low Latency Mode question

If you're system isn't GPU-bound, the only thing LLM might theoretically do is affect frame pacing, depending on how the given engine handles the the pre-rendered frames queue, and if it allows LLM override to take effect (a LOT of games don't, and DX12/Vulkan games don't at all). LLM "On" is typic...

Re: NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - How It Works & Why You Want To Use It

Once I receive an LDAT from Nvidia, I will be performing input lag testing in at least one of those three games to determine and verify how Reflex behaves in both GPU-bound and non-GPU-bound scenarios. Just to let you know, I am especially curious how Reflex behaves in non-GPU-bound scenarios, so I...

Re: The Official *Asus VG259QM* Owners Thread (+ Secret Overdrive)

I highly recommend returning your VG259QM and trying another until you get one that doesn't have pixel inversion issues. That's the plan! ASUS VG259QM is still the best monitor for competitive FPS I've tested so far. There's a high chance it could end up as my final choice, but I still have some ot...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

When would you say we could expect 8000 Hz polling rate mice to hit the market? Also, is 8000 Hz wireless achievable or there are currently technical obstacles that would prevent such implementation? I got so used to wireless mice that I don't wanna go back. Hard to say... The hardware is near-enou...
