Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

This is one of those things where someone has to take the lead in driving change which can have direct and indirect costs but at the same time can also be rewarding from capitalizing on it from a marketing standpoint. And for computers / GPUs / refreshrates / etc to catch up. Fewer 8000Hz-incompati...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread

Alright so I had a bit of a breakthrough. I tried getting the new DisplayPort cable to work because I thought it was bizarre that it was not even turning on. I find that the lip they have at the bottom of the monitor makes it extremely difficult to plug in the cables sometimes. I’m going to sound l...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread

Half flipping is not a complex mechanic for anyone who has played this game consistently and should be very easy to do regardless of what monitor is used. Not saying this is the case on this monitor, or that it applies to your experience specifically, but something I noticed no one mentioning, is t...

Re: Mouse stutter/jitter causing rendering problem that looks like but isn't SLI frame pacing issue

Hi, thanks for responding. Fresh rebuild has meant a few things, either formatting and reinstalling windows, using a different disk and installing windows, using different versions of the OS, I went back to 1903 as the earliest attempt at fixing things, I have also tried BIOS versions from mid last...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread

How are you liking the OD on Normal and 360hz clarity compared to the other 240-280hz monitors? I think clarity wise the Pg259qn is better or at least comparable to the vg259qm with the recommended settings from the owners forum here. I don’t see any huge differences in game between the two which i...

If you're not paying for extended Win 7 support you need to reevaluate your priorities. Win 7 is a vulnerability nightmare right now and a hackers wet dream.

Re: Native (plug-and-play) 8000hz mouse

Awesome! Finally. :) I guess that's the thing which will finally make me move to W10. (If I understand correctly, it can't work on win7?) I wonder if it will be possible to use 4000 or 8000 on PS5 and Xbox X in games running at 120fps. Seeing the tech forums full of "what a stupid marketing lie" co...

Re: TN = Less eyestrain?

I agree, I'm generally running under 30% brightness. I use bias lighting too. I don't actually notice a difference in eyestrain modifying brightness(exempting extremes) so I just try and run it as low as I can without whites becoming greys. I wish I could do easily tune the fatigue out. On a counte...
