Re: Is it possible to set a custom frame rate cap with Reflex?
Not if/whenever your framerate drops below your NVCP cap (in which case Reflex would take over again) , and no, you can't set a custom Reflex limit (partly because the whole reason Reflex works in the first place is it dynamically adjusts its limit to current GPU usage) , but if you set a custom in...

Is it possible to set a custom frame rate cap with Reflex?
I'm playing a demanding game (Cyberpunk 2077) on an RTX 4070 with a i5 13600k on a 240hz monitor. Normally I use RTSS to cap frame rates but, in this case, I might not use it because Reflex helps with input lag at lower frame rates. Frame generation is also a consideration, however I don't really li...

Re: [FIX] Alienware AW2518HF frameskipping/ghosting fix (and possibly all the other AW2XXX series such as the AW2521HF)
I have the AW2521HF and noticed this bug when using a 1050 ti: https://youtu.be/kM25QykH-Vc
Since then I've upgraded to a 4070 and have not seen the same issue. Would these adjustments fix something like that? I also haven't noticed frame skipping but I'm not sure what that looks like.

Can this monitor be updated with ULMB2?

At low refresh rates XG should be very similar to OLEDs, in some areas even better. At high refresh rates its not as crosstalk free. VRR+BFI on OLEDs currently doesn't exist. Alright. I didn't know about the AW2521H supporting 60hz strobing. I tried it out and it does help quite a bit in games like...

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
Is crosstalk free strobing easier to achieve on an OLED since they have instantaneous pixel response? I'm tempted to buy an XG2431 since I've become more sensitive to persistence blur, especially at 60hz (which comprises the majority of games). However, since I already have an Alienware AW2521H, I w...

I bought this monitor but gsync does not work over HDMI despite reviews and the manual saying it should work. I'm using a 1050 ti with the latest drivers. Has anyone else gotten gsync to work over HDMI? I've tried both HDMI ports but that didn't help.

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
Anyone getting eye fatigue with this monitor? I’m not 100% certain but it seems that I may be getting some with the XG2431 where with the XL2546K I am not. Looks like the XL2546K uses a TN panel which is usually easier on the eyes due to the lower contrast ratio compared to IPS. I have to use Limit...

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
How long until there is a motion blur reduction technique with VRR available (officially)? I say this because a lot of games make it hard to get a good vsync, even when using external solutions. For example, I think a game like Bit.Trip Runner would benefit a lot from motion blur reduction, but I've...

Re: ViewSonic XG2431 Discussion Thread [Blur Busters Approved XG2431 - 24" 240Hz IPS with Best Strobing]
I would be interested in trying out BFI but I'm afraid my eyes won't be able to tolerate it for very long. For example, I'm not able to use interlaced resolutions like 1080i on an LCD. Since a lot of the content I want to use it for is older retro stuff that's locked at 60hz, I'm guessing the flick...
