Does ULMB2 work say if I don't want to run 2K/QHD 1440p and want to run 1600x900 full screen?

Of course that's money/market strategy but something better will come along.

If mine wasn't defective I think I would be loving it too but unfortunately no support from AOPEN.. blaming the other guy type shit response is what i got

Thinking of taking the back panel off and running a fan over it.. just need to keep the back cool... as the back sits facing the sun.
