I own the VG248QE and i find the color great even at 144hz, its only when you use lightboost that colors take a huge hit with this monitor and why im not using it much . . .
If you plan on using blur reduction i'd recommend getting it with the gsync board or just go with the BENQ instead

Re: Already own a XL2720T, is it worth upgrading to XL2720Z?
Well if you want to replace your XL2720T with the Z model there is also the option to sell the T right now while its value is still decent. The more you wait and as new models come out the price will plummet down so if you want the Z as well as a new TV that might be an option if you act quick enoug...

Re: Hello from ASUS [official rep]
So in essence if nvidia wanted, they could release a version 2 of their DIY kit for the vg248qe that allows 60hz strobe? That would be nice. I would really like to know if they plan on releasing new and improved (with any improved functionality or one that doesnt remove things like the onscreen aimi...

Re: VG278HE or XL2720Z, advantages & differences
The problem with both though is that unless you have a very large desk the pixel might look too big on a 27 screen using only 1080p resolution. You need to make sure you can sit far enough or you might be disappointed by the image quality which is why i opted for a 24 instead with the same resolutio...

I'm pretty sure they will send one review unit though at the very least.

Re: Hello from ASUS [official rep]
Any chance to win some ROG monitors in some contests when they come out? I'd suggest sending a few units to Blurbusters (1 for review of course and other for a draw )

Re: Question regarding ASUS VG248QE
I myself played with a few ICC and i barely notice any differences . . . thats why im considering upgrading to ULMB after DIY kits drop in prices. Right now im mostly using regular 144hz without lightboost coz lightboost at 120hz no matter what % feels way off and im not a color picky person(i actua...

Re: Hello from ASUS [official rep]
I doubt CCFL will come back because LED = sales pitch for the uninformed masses lol. LED do have the advantage of no decreased life from on/off cycling like CCFL. Also with OLED slowly entering the market, CCFL are less likely to remain imo, even LED will eventually go the way of the CRT the way thi...
