Re: Why I´m done with 240hz!
I'll watch my fps but I don't have a problem with my set up to maintain 240+ on overwatch. I agree that keeping the fps optimal is hard for the cpus. The gpu utilization is under 80 percent so I know it's not a gpu bottleneck while cpu always is 80+. Moreover, even GTX 1080 is barely utilized over ...

Re: Optimal Screen Size for FPS Gaming [Scientific Research?
Yes, but there are multiple tradeoffs acting against each other in real-time - Bigger size - Human's eyesight (nearsightedness, farsightedness) - Whether you're a nonstop crosshairs-starer (always on crosshairs, rely on peripheral vision only) - Whether you're a prolific eye-tracker (scattered all ...

Re: New round of tests coming? Nvidia cards with freesync?
I suppose every (or almost every) Freesync monitor and Nvidia GPU owner would be able to enable G-sync. I remember days of Lightboost hack without 3d glasses which required forcing the right EDID version thru CRU to make system (and gpu driver) think that given monitor is the right model. I think th...

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
This is strange because I messaged them and this was the e-mail I received today: Strange... Here is the answer I got from TFTCentral about it: Hi Thanks for the email. We tested the full wide mode, and 1:1 Mapping mode and both showed similar results. The figures in the review are based on measure...

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
It was reported that over HDMI it does not work with high VT's as over DP, so Displayport is recommended.

Another way you may try to kick VT tweak in, is Nvidia control panel custom resolution, if CRU doesnt work for you (btw make sure you start CRU with admin privileges).

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Thank you Chief , a perfect illustration of what to expect out of VT tweaking! Kheri , yes I'm talking that ~1580 VT ceiling isnt due to pixelclock limits, since LG is capable of 640Mhz. It's probably a Mstar firmware limitation for 1080p, as this limit is the same for 120 and 144 and I tried 180hz.

Re: LG 27GK750F-B - 240Hz, 27" 1ms Blur reduction, Freesync
Kheri , I posted some pics of 120hz default (crosstalk) vs 120hz VT1580 and the difference was clearly seen. Crosstalk trails are definitely more faint. https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?p=31012#p31012 Yes, at 240hz VT1304 is less visible improvement, but VT1580 120hz pics clearly shows ...
