Re: [Help] 27” 1080 vs 1440
What are you playing? In games like Overwatch I've found there's a drastic difference between playing someone like Tracer (close combat, fast paced) and Widowmaker (long range sniper). Similarly, if you're playing CS:GO / Valorant or COD, you're likely to have slightly different requirements. For sn...

Re: BENQ Zowie XL2746S & XL2546S (*DISCONTINUED*) Owners Thread
Just saw that... When your biggest marketing point is that you have a smaller stand, it's not looking too good. From: https://zowie.benq.com/en/xl-k-series.html "Smaller base, more playing space!" Usually that would be a VERY low priority feature, perhaps 4th or 5th down the line. But no, it's #1. M...

Re: ASUS PG259QN ANNOUNCED! - 360Hz IPS 1ms GtG HDR Monitor with Hardware G-Sync and ULMB Strobing
Same, I'm looking forward to a 3090 powering a 360hz monitor and wish there was a pre-order that could guarantee I get one of the first ones. Sadly, these things have historically been hard to get at launch day and we usually get screwed over in Canada! (not always, but sometimes

I want it. I'm going to get it and report back (well... when it's available)

Holy, I think the top alien is the sharpest / clearest I've ever seen. Too bad the middle / lower on on the LG MBR one aren't as sharp.

Yep! NVIDIA reached out to Blur Busters to make a custom TestUFO test for CES 2020. It's going to go live tomorrow, but it appears NVIDIA launched it a day early! So, you'll still see the humorous message at top of the new TestUFO test: www.testufo.com/framerates-versus AREA 187 - SECRET MOTION TES...

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq
400 fps+ in CS:GO 400 fps+ in Starcraft II 300 fps+ in Overwatch with my settings and rig. If you modify the .ini file you can get 400 fps and in big fights, the FPS can drop as low as 220 fps. (and the key to Overwatch performance is ridiculously fast ram if anyone wants to know. 4000mhz+) And yes,...

Re: First 1440p 240hz monitor! Lenovo Y27gq
I went through the thread (that you started, ironically) and you've already stated 3 times that you feel that the monitor isn't for you. However some of us run games with high end computers (5ghz - 2080 TI) specs that can easily max out the 240hz at 2560x. Not to mention Nvidia's next gen card is go...
