ye those are the exact steps haha <3 but ye I didn't notice anything better or worse than double extreme so gave up. i may try again when i get to trying pubg new map, which is a longer time commitment than random ow dm rounds which is basically all i play recently

I don't get your post completely. So you are saying monitor freesync on nvcp off is better right? It depends. If you were using Freesync OFF and OD Extreme at 390hz then this tweak is good to reduce overshoot. OD Normal performs slightly worse with Freesync so unless you want to use VRR keep Freesy...
