Re: Acer XB273U GX (270Hz 1440p IPS) review
Maybe retention issue is only in the first lot of panels, lets see spacerocktraveler manufacture date and feedback. Anyway, even if is only the first lot, is not excuse to sell defective units. Because would mean than quality test of panel manufacturer and monitor manufacturer not detect the issue, ...

Re: Has image persistence been fixed yet?
Still playing with 21" CRT 1600x1200 100Hz, i hate motion blur (what you describe as persistence). There are currently some LCD strobing 100Hz, level where flicker dissappears, than fix motion blur very good (almost CRT), Viewsonic XG270, BenQ XL2746S XL2546K, maybe others also. But there are still ...

Re: Official Asus ROG Swift 360Hz PG259QN Owners Thread
More frequency is allways welcome, but 360Hz is crazy fast, much more than some players think, much more than current GtG can take full advantage. GtG bottleneck is the "brake" than cause not enjoy "True" 360Hz experience. I think the priority of players right now, would be claim panel manufacturers...

Re: [Monitor Electronics Hack] World first zowie XL2540 240hz 60hz singlestrobe? Experiment.
Yes, LG Nano-IPS include KSF to reach higher DCI-P3 color coverage, but is a step back in strobe mode. Hopefuly LG release a variation of this panel without KSF layer, and monitor manufacturers can choose. For gaming, i think vast majority of players agree motion handling is priority Vs color gamut....

Thanks ! I read the same about Viewsonic XG270 PureXP+ Ultra 75Hz, is needed a very dimm room to enjoy Ultra MPRT mode. Chief say in another post than currently can be designed LED backlight above 10,000 nits ! Seems, worth it do it ? enought sales ? If one manufacturer want make a beast high end st...

Re: Good News Everyone: 60Hz Single Strobe Options
I think proper VRR+Strobing today not exist. I only know ASUS ELMB-Sync, but is not single strobe ! so, you can imagine the result. https://www.aperturegrille.com/reviews/ASUSVG279QM/#ELMB-Waveform You can solve NES issue making a custom resol with fixed frecuency 60.1Hz with incoming Eve QHD 240Hz,...

Re: Acer XB273U GX (270Hz 1440p IPS) review
One doubt about factory overclocked monitors. Taking in mind than very probably panel manufacturer not accept defective panels if are overclocked beyond 240Hz. If a player buy this XB273U GX, play at 270Hz without issues, but months later artifacts appear. Set 240Hz no issues. Acer 240@270 and Asus ...
