Re: [24" 240Hz IPS Monitor XG2431] ViewSonic unveils monitors for 2021 (The new 240Hz 24" king?)

Probably too late, but i sure hope it lets us tweak stuff like service menus in benq monitors in case viewsonic doesnt do it perfectly Hopefully its also going to be tuned very well for non-strobing usage +1 TFTCentral blog say XG321UG come with DP 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/blog...

Re: Good News Everyone: 60Hz Single Strobe Options

Vizio link is 2020, 2019 here https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/vizio/p-series-quantum-x-2019 To take into account in these two Vizio TV and the 2018 P65-F1 also, brightness under 100% with strobe mode Off result in 120Hz backlight flicker, this is a step back. Flicker should only occur when strobe ...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

VRR Off suggestion seems is because the higher the framerate, more beneficts of 8K polling, prioritize reduce lag Vs fix tearing. But caution with uncontrolled VSync Off, if GPU usage is 100% or very near, GPU lag can increase to atrocious levels ! See ApertureGrille.com input lag VSync-Off deep rev...

Re: Good News Everyone: 60Hz Single Strobe Options

Bravia A8H also does it, but best I've seen is Motionflow (Sony's motion interpolation tech) + BFI for 24-60 fps locked video/games, it beats 120 source + BFI. Looks like it might be 240 BFI. Of course the input lag will be big there, actually not too bad for peaceful games. Sony A8H is very differ...

Re: Keep the BENQ XL2746S or return and the buy Alienware AW2521

I do have a 32 inch 1440P G7 I could game on for now but is too big for FPS games. FHD resolution GPU scaled 1:1 with Nvidia control panel or AMD equivalent, result 24" FHD native, sharp, not interpolated. [Off-Topic] But current curved monitors distort geometry in corners even from the optimal vie...

Re: I have the new Razer 8000 Hz prototype gaming mouse on my desk.

see pictures attached Seems Windows 0.5ms timer is the bottleneck. Maybe is the cause CPU usage don't go high at 4K and 8K, and also why MouseRateChecker stop around 2K. Oh, THAT kind of drift control. Yeah, I can see why some people like that at the desktop. https://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopi...

Select one Data Block and click Edit for see details, if there are 4096x2160 entries delete they. TV resolutions and HDMI should be the places where 4096 is hidded.

Re: DSR factoring the wrong native res

Select the extension block, and click edit to see if 4096x2160 resolution is stored here. If yes, try disable or remove. Don't worry about delete things, CRU is a software layer, screen EDID data is untouched. If you click the upper delete button, all this profile SONY TV is deleted, and in the next...

Re: DSR factoring the wrong native res

CRU (Custom Resolution Utility), make a new "Detailed Resolution" 3840x2160, and place it the first in the list (upper position) in case there are more than one here. Now this "UHD 4K" becomes the native in the GPU driver, and DSR 2x2 is now 7680x4320 "UHD 8K". I wonder why nvidia cap DSR to only 2x...
