Re: Is there Input Lag with FPS Smoothing?

Most console games feel like they have half a second of input lag, but people still play them. I originally played Dead Space on PS3 and despite at least an hour of trying, I never got past the asteroid defense turret part in Chapter 4 Obliteration Imminent. Apparently I wasn't alone, as there are ...

Re: Games that run above 240Hz?

I got both 1440x810 and 720 running now. Used CRU to set a high refresh rate, now any refresh below it at those resolutions works for NCP custom resolutions. Most non-frame capped games seem to work. Speaking of, maybe its time for a Blur Busters Hall of Fame thread for games that aren't capped and ...

Re: Games that run above 240Hz?

I think I have a windows driver problem. Going to try to solve it with CRU later. Those resolutions aren't being identified by Windows 8.1, hence they aren't available in games. Games will not see them if you define them in nvidia control panel. You need to create them in CRU instead. Delete all cu...

I think I have a windows driver problem. Going to try to solve it with CRU later. Those resolutions aren't being identified by Windows 8.1, hence they aren't available in games. However, please do keep the games coming. If nothing else I will be tempted to buy even more that I'll never have time to ...

I'll check it out. It's a lot like Rainbow Six right? I still play Vegas 2.

Games that run above 240Hz?

I made some custom resolutions in NVIDIA Control Panel. 1440x810 @ 250Hz and 1280x720 @ 320Hz. Before I get lit up, I realize they are frame-skipping. I also realize there is no additional reduction in blur over 120hz on this panel, because 121Hz and above start frame skipping. I'm okay with this. M...

Re: Vizio M651d-A2R 120hz [HDTV overclocking success]

OK so the pics did not post so here are my settings. 2560x1440 Set Refresh rate to 60HZ and then change the timings to CVT reduced Blank. 3200x1800 Set Refresh rate to 50HZ and then change the timings to CVT reduced Blank. You should now show the right resolution in your TV Drop Down when choosing ...
