Re: If "Money is no concern" what's the best 27" for PC Gami
With an unlimited budget, I'd probably have a 27", 480Hz, 16:10, 10240x6400p CRT, SED, or FED display custom built, unfortunately that would cost thousands and thousands of dollars. Now, what is your real budget?

Destroyed VG248QE panel...
I was attempting to remove the matte film of my VG248QE, but I also ended up removing parts of the polarizer. The LCD only displays random colors and lines now. Where can I buy a replacement LCD?

Swap 20" ACD PCB?
My 20" 1680x1050 Apple Cinema Display only does 64Hz before blacking out... Is there any way to swap the PCB to allow for a better overclock?

Mac OS X 10.5 Pixel Clock Bypass
Is there a way to bypass the pixel clock limit is OS X 10.5? My PowerMac G5 Quad needs 240Hz (overclock PCB), but custom resolutions past 125Hz don't show up is System Preferences after installing them with SwitchResX (Basically CRU for OS X).

Re: FED TV/monitor closed?! But back soon
SED/FED were not actually as good as CRT. -- There were actually much higher-persistence , much like an old plasma display. -- There was per-pixel PWM on some of the early FED -- It produced temporal noise artifacts and contouring artifacts not too different from early plasmas/DLPs. Some more good ...

Considering producing SED/FED monitors... Critique needed
If this post is not allowed on Blur Busters, please inform me and I will delete it or edit it so that it follows the rules. I also want to state that I am in the very, very early planning stages for SED/FED monitor production; there is about a 25% chance of me beginning SED/FED monitor production bu...

Do SED/FED monitors have a native resolution?
Do SED and/or FED monitors have a native resolution similar to LCDs, where other resolutions are simulated via pixel stretching which creates blur or are they like CRTs, where there is no native resolution and switching resolutions does not add blur?
