And.... This will not be the last monitor giveaway this year. Established existing forum members will have something later this year related to a different monitor giveaway; so consider that an incentive to stick around this forum (and helpfully replying to new forum members! ;) ) And everyone, you'...

We need to ask CallSignVega (aka Vega here on Blur Busters Forum). He would be the correct person to ask. (I'm curious too!)

Re: ***HELP*** Philips 242G5DJEB Smart Response issues
Hmmm... Does your monitor use profiles (factory-provided saved picture-setting memories). Is it possible it only works in certain monitor profiles? (e.g. Gaming mode, rather than Photo mode?).

Re: Sync failure when i try to test 144hz
I assume 120Hz works great?
If so, then try creating a new 144Hz custom resolution but with "Reduced Timings" setting. If you're using a Custom Resolution Utility (e.g. ToastyX or NVIDIA Custom Resolution), make sure to use "Reduced Timings". 144Hz only works during reduced timings mode.

Re: 27Acer XB270HA bprz G-SYNC 144 returned - stuck pixel
Did you enjoy GSYNC? If so, then you want to check out other GSYNC monitors , or wait for an AMD FreeSync monitor. This is your best bet if you want feature parity with your old monitor. On the other hand, did you find blur reduction useful? (LightBoost, ULMB, BENQ Blur Reduction, etc). If so, check...

Have anyone here tried VSR and DSR, and found out which one looks better?

Re: Is there a way to unlock/use ALL settings (BenQ XL2420Z)
Hello VarHyid: Welcome to Blur Busters Forums! Are you using the "3D Mode" with shutter glasses, or for the purpose of motion blur reduction? 3D mode, uses LightBoost by necessity (see LightBoost FAQ and strobe backlights are also used for the purpose of reducing 3D crosstalk, but at the cost of qua...

Re: ASUS VG248 interlaced
I'm curious -- why would you need interlaced at 120Hz?
The VG248QE is able to support 1080i/60Hz for television watching purposes. I think 1080i/120 would also work, but I can't think of any purpose for this other than scientific/niche purpose. Want to say?

Re: $491 AOC G2460PG vs $540 BenQ XL2420G - Is the BenQ wort
Hello eBombzor: Both monitors have great GSYNC operation, and the motion quality is similar. That said, a distinction occur if you plan to use motion blur elimination features -- some countries have one of the monitor cheaper than the other. One pro that the BENQ XL2420G is that it is compatible wit...

Re: Lightboost DOES work at 60 hz, all the way down to 31Hz!
This is true. You really need 1 backlight strobe flash per refresh cycle, for proper motion blur elimination. It's not working unless it successfully passes the TestUFO Panning Map Readability Test , with perfectly smooth stutter-free motion (make sure the browser is the only app running and only br...
