Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
You have some interesting results there and strangely not all of them agree with my experience. It could be because I tested those games with a GTX 760. Far Cry 3 - A fucking mess with Gsync, stutters no matter what, only way i get this game running smooth is 60fps lock 60hz vsync on and 1 gpu buffe...

Re: Acer announces 144hz IPS 1440p G-SYNC! [XB270HU, XG270HU
I actually only run into this rarely lately. There are only a few games that I absolutely could not fix such as Divinity 2 and Shadow Warrior . Shadow Warrior and Hard Reset (previous game of the same creators) only work correctly at 60Hz and 120Hz. 60fps and 120fps are the only stutter-free fps fo...

Re: Acer announces 144hz IPS 1440p G-SYNC! [XB270HU, XG270HU
In most new games, there is so much engine based stuttering that GSync cant smooth out..... Really frustrating. I actually only run into this rarely lately. Re: Acer announces 144hz IPS 1440p G-SYNC! [XB270HU, XG270HU
The simple fact of the matter is that anywhere between 50fps and 144fps feels pretty much the same. It's amazing, really. I completely disagree with that statement. Personally I don't get that feeling until about 85 fps. Framerates below that are a huge improvement over a static refresh rate monito...

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
I hear G-Sync doesn't work with Dolphin, is this true? Anyone have more examples of incompatible emulators? G-Sync activates with Dolphin for me. I haven't done any testing to see how smooth it is though. Any emulator that supports true fullscreen mode using Direct3D or OpenGL should work. Some, es...

It's too bad there isn't a 1080p model as well. I'll take a higher framerate over a higher resolution any day.

Re: G-Sync game compatibility - Post your test results here
Your Shadow of Mordor experience is the same as mine. Definitely one of the smoothest-running games I've played recently. Last Light on the other hand I've only played briefly since getting G-Sync but don't remember having any issues with it.

Re: G-Sync first impressions
Damn, that's one less potential 'easy fix' (although I don't know if I could have got around the 24Hz bug anyway). I just reset Crysis to 100% stock DX9 High settings, and there is still terrible stutter. You don't happen to have in-game vsync on do you? It likes to turn back on when I restart the ...

Re: G-Sync first impressions
DX9 or DX10? EDIT: Looks like DX9 is my only option anyway. I was running DX9, and wondered if DX10 might make a difference, but switching to DX10 results in the old Crysis 24Hz bug, and Preferred Refresh Rate: Highest Available is completely ineffective for some reason. Yes I've always used DX9 in...
