I believe some do. I noticed mine does. After few minutes staring at the screen I can see flickering with eyes closed.

Re: Confused about the AW2521HF response time settings
At 240 fps no reason not to use it. Only at lower frame rates (e.g. 48-165 fps) is where overshoot kicks in then you might want to switch to less aggressive overdrive. Notice the overshoot with VRR ON @max vs 120 vs 60. But If u don't find overshoot distracting than no need to manually change it. Ye...

Re: The Official *Dell Alienware AW2521H 360Hz* Owners Thread
I cannot seem to enter mine, what's considered 1/3 buttons? tried both combinations from up and down. It's function buttons, counting from top to bottom, ignoring joystick. Power button is located below on the right side. Power off the monitor. While holding buttons 1 and 3, press power button once...

Re: Hp omen x 25
Do you know if the hp omen x 25 uses it or not? Don't know, probably not. His bigger brother X 27 does, but his nephew X 25f doesn't. See Image Flicker section: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/hp/omen-x-27 https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/hp/omen-x-25f Btw sometimes max (100%) brightne...

Re: Hp omen x 25
What do you mean by that? That on low brightness there's high frequency PWN? See given images. High freq PWM dimming is still flickering even though it doesn't have any blur reduction benefits. Some monitors use this old school method to control brightness. Single strobe backlight pulses once per r...

Re: Hp omen x 25
Since i made the switch to the kd25f i felt some of discomfort with the display. Do you have Aim Stabilizer enabled all the time? If not maybe this monitor uses high frequency PWM for dimming. Flickering backlight can be uncomfortable for some people. Normal backlight: https://i.rtings.com/assets/p...

Re: esports 1440p 360hz displays announced
But the Vicious Cycle Effect kind of applies here where 1440p is motion-blurrier than 1080p at the same refresh rate (higher resolutions amplify refresh rate limitations). Physical distance wise 1314pps would be ~1:1 comparison, not 1440pps. Which is non-integer 3.65ppf for 360 fps, meaning impossi...

Can't say for 0-100% but for 3-97% + gamma correction is about 60% slower difference, roughly speaking.

Re: Hp omen x 25
X 25 is known to be one of the fastest TN. I'd dare to say response time performance is on par with new XL2566K 360Hz. In my head it's sorted 1. XL2566K, 2. X 25, 3. other... For blur reduction X 25 is limited to 144Hz max, KD25F isn't. So that's one of its disadvantages. But 144Hz ULMB is probably ...
